Is it a Corolla? if it isn't a blown fuse, some times is just the connection metal pin or the bulb holder metal that is not touching the bulb correctly. cool 👍
Shine Graffix it’s not the fuse I checked them. I also took a light tester and touched each side of the socket. On one side the tester lit up bright. On the other side it lit up very dim. So I thought it was maybe the wires. Which I can’t get to. I could try to get a socket I guess

Gustavo Rosendo It does. As long as you hook it up to the same wires that went to the original trunk light it will shut off when it’s closed.

Sadly I think my trunk light has a short in it because I tried many bulbs and none worked so I have no trunk light
Check the connection sometimes it’s not all the way in 👍
