We have a video on desoto falls it's in our hiking playlist, want me to post the link here? Also, if you're talking about little river that leads to the waterfall in woodstock ga near lake allatoona, our video on that comes out in about 2 weeks!
@@buildthedream77 hey! That would be awesome! I live in Rome, GA and have been to several waterfalls nearby. I love your videos, so far the best I’ve seen in regards to all the waterfalls near us. I have family in England I’m sharing your videos with them. No, I’m actually talking about Little River Canyon, in Alabama… only 25 minutes from GA border.
@@buildthedream77 the hike down to the river isn’t bad and it’s beautiful. Definitely some steep parts but they added in some boulder steps to make it easier. When I was a teenager, none of the ramps or any of the safety rails were there. In fact, some of… many of my crazy friends would jump from the falls into the water. I jumped from the boulder that’s near the waterfall but that’s it! 😂 Those were the good ol days when danger was just living your best life, exploring and all that good stuff. Have fun!! ( disclaimer: I’m not telling you to jump from the waterfall…lol).
I’m going to Cloudland Canyon in June and I’m leading a small group. What is the closest parking to the waterfalls trails? Will be coming from Atlanta so it will be a 2 1/2 hour drive and I’m just wanting to plan as much ahead as possible. Thanks for any input in the amazing video as always!
The Main entrance to Cloudland Canyon has the closest parking to "The Waterfalls Trail". After you pass the visitors center on your left, you'll take a right at the next stop sign from what I remember. You'll run in to it from there. The visitors center and the person at the front gate helped us last time. The Waterfalls trail is about 2 miles total. Just hard getting back up, Eventually we might start adding people!
