Cool, thanks Wyatt! Yeah, the instructions had me take off the bumper and bumper-cover anyway, so it did not require any more effort to get the welded-up C-channel mods into the "frame" rails. I plan to be using a Cargo Hauler on this car so I wanted to make sure the Hitch really held up to its rated Tongue weight.
Great tutorial! In depth with everything and shows exactly where things go. Love the modification as well. Does anyone know if this would also work with a 2018 impreza sedan? not sure if it'd be different but just want to be sure. I don't have the hatchback but would love to get this hitch!
That looks like a pretty beefy hitch for something that’s not on a pick up truck. Nice! 3500 pounds is pretty stout for a car.👍 I like how Subaru designed that rear plastic. Most cars I work on, any type of bodywork has clips on it, and they all break, or never go back together the way they came apart. Just putting headlight assemblies in a lot of vehicles today is infuriating! Got a whole new respect for Subaru after watching yours and Eric O’s videos. 👍🍻
Hey Smitty, thanks for watching. This will be my wife's rescue car for when I land my PPG off of my LZ. I am putting a cargo Hauler on it, so I needed one that is sturdy. I like that this ECO-Hitch was made in the USA too. We will be driving this down to Lake-Wales to take delivery of my rig. Seeya in the air! 👍😎👍
Oh yeah, your modification is much better. You had to take a lot apart just to get to that point but it sure looks great. Well done.

Thanks! Be sure to watch the next video of installing the Cargo Hauler.
Chris,
you were going to do a video on how to fit a hand winch on an Alaskan chainsaw mill.
Thanks for your videos.
Amazing Video. I like👍i from Indonesian...🙋

Do you think you could use this hitch as a recovery point?
