Years ago in my teens, I witness some street racing where a SuperBoss, was just smoking everyone that came to take him on, some great memories - awesome car!
Back in the day before turbos ruined everything
my mate had a black LSD superboss. that car left strips where ever it left. truly love cars from 1980 till 2010. now its plastic and wet dreams.
Its my dream to drive one of these cars one day. Thanks to the owner for letting you record it and take it for a spin and let us live vicariously through you. I own a citirox 1.8i. Also with big cam. Lumpy idle. Loud exhaust with pops. No power steering now aircon no electric windows and these days it's probably the closest thing you will get to a superboss even though it isn't. But its the feel of driving a car made for driving. You feel everything and its raw. That's why I love the superboss. Screw your power steering and comfort. Get in and pull that thing. Thats what its made for
I love your South African cars, most of the Japanese and European cars got much more premium editions for South Africa with better equipment and bigger engines than ever offered in Europe!! :O

Another 16V Kadett rarity you should try and track down is the 1800is, they didn`t make many of those either and they put out more power than the 200is...
I had one, chipped, piped and filtered it and loved every minute I owned it...haven`t seen any on the road now in years...

I don't think so. It was a very limited car. SAPS. The kadette that came out after was the one the SAPS used. The 200is.

It was the 200is indeed
SAPS did use this shape before the 200IS, but it was not the Super Boss. If I am not mistaken, it was the 200 CD Kadett 5 door, the Big Boss.
