I am a beginner to this photoshop since I have enrolled to graphic designing. I must say there are so many you tubers who teach tutorial for all tools, but I could find yours the most systematic way of teaching. I was so much confused and stuck with the spot healing technique. Helped me alot. thanks. Last but not the least I love your 😊
wow that was a very thorough tutorial. I will have to do this again I was able to get up to the step before the final step but I saved the document and lost the separation of the layer but the soft brush technique worked enough to make a difference. I will save this video and try it again at some point. Photoshop is fantastic but a lot to learn.
Hey. I got it, but don't got it. I don't know why the blemishes are not going away. By far this is the best video I have seen for this specific issue. But something is blocking from the blending of the complexion over the blemish on the face in the photo I'm using.???!🤷♀🤦♀🙆♀😒🙃
For a simple beginner like myself more time needed to be taken on settings, steps and why. My layers never duplicated areas selected or to be repaired, plus when I pause video the text of the pause covered the toolbar settings at the top.....
Thanks for posting. I enjoy digital painting and touching up like this but it's definitely a process that I would love to see Adobe introduce some AI tools to help speed up all the manual steps.
I'm wondering why the layer is needed to invert then apply High Pass, without inverting wouldn't the action be performed? What's the functions of inverting?
Hiya! This is very helpful just by looking at it! Just got a question. I think it might be silly question but most of my pictures that i want to edit are like half body/full body. Do i need to crop it to the face just to focus on its editing? Or can i just zoom in or zoom out while on the process of editing it? (Smoothing the face). Thankyou!
I have a question I am still in graphic design classes but my friend has a photo that the tree branches are in front of their faces and wanted to edit that out how would I do that if possible?
Probably not going to happen but depends on what parts of them are hidden by the trees. You could try to use the content aware fill or the clone stamp tool.
It's extremely frustrating when this shit doesn't work. I click on option see the round circle but then the plus mark doesn't show and instead the black from the shirt is coming on the skin. Trying to get rid of a top of nipple peaking out of a blouse and it is still picking up the blouse even with the second option which is not the spot healer but the brush healer option. argh. So I figured out that you have to do option click and then click a second time to pick the sample. It still bled the black into the skin so I will probably have to try from scratch again.

Super technique Brendan and you've made it so easy to follow. Thanks for this excellent tutorial.
Man! This ranks way up there with the most hack job ways to retouch skin. And your final results a c+ at best.
Yes yes!!! Thanks man, I really needed to understand the process of retouching skin, and this video helped tremendously. THANKS!
Awesome instruction!!!!! Thank you Brendan.

Does it matter that I'm using a trial subscription?
Thank, very informative video.I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023 and my dash doesn't look the same as this one. Is there a reason for this?
Another easy-to-learn tutorial from a great teacher....thank you thank you

Get a picture with acne and auto-blend the faces 💯

It is better if you zoom in and zoom out maybe haha not a professional but I'll prefer that😅

I am having this issue as well
Isn't there like an AI in photoshop that removes and clean all those perfectly and quick?
