- Discover one of the most powerful high-end skin retouching techniques in Photoshop to fix blotchy skin, discoloration, or unevenness. You can use this technique to not only fix any issues with the skin but also for high-quality skin softening or smoothing while keeping the texture intact.
In this tutorial, we will start by using Frequency Separation to separate the image into color and texture and then use various advanced techniques to precisely target and repair blotchy and uneven skin. We will use methods such as the Patch Tool and Hue/Saturation, along with the help of Check Layers, to get the cleanest results. I hope this video helps you. Thank you so much for watching :)

Still can't belive we can watch your tutorials (I'd like to call it masterclass) for free :D Thanks so much, love to learn something new!
Hi Uhmesh
You explain everything in such detail, I completely understand your process and more importantly how to use it in my work. If only I had teachers and lecturers like you way back, life might have been so much better for me. I really can't complain, I am a happy fan of yours and look forward to more of you lectures. Many, many thanks my friend.
Today I forgot to cancel a high-fee subscription and broke the screen of my phone, but I didn't let them ruin my day because it was long ago that I learned the lesson you give at the beginning of every video: I should have a great day no matter what and try to make it even better. Thank you Unmesh! You mean more than an excellent Photoshop instructor to me and many others. Don't have a good day, have a great day!
It truly is in your hands. You are remarkably awesome for keeping a positive attitude!
This has to be the very best tutorial on retouching skin ever presented, period and hands down. A great day we will all make. Thank you so much!
Wow Unmesh, I admire you. Concepts of most of these tips are known to me, because I am a VFX artist, constructing them in more technical ways and applying them to moving pictures, but I always love to watch your tutorials anyway, because you are my hero. Combination of artistic talent and skill, with technical knowledge and ability to teach people with a clean way of explaining things and voice work that can lead the listeners attention in a very polite manner.
Thank you for all your work you are doing for us.
Genuinely one of the best tutorials you've ever made, and that's saying a lot given your usual level of quality. So much fantastic information here that extends far past the specific effect in the title.
Hi. I am from Pakistan, you are the superman of Photoshop because you teach extremely easy and realistic. Thank you.😇😇🙃🙂
This tutorial saved my LIFE!!! LOL Thank you!
i must say that you are an indian guy whose accent is much much improved. and i must mention that you look like a hard working man. good job brother. cheers from iran. keep improving. you look like a legend in photoshop!

The Universe is listening to you ✨
Fascinating. Never saw anyone separate lightness and color in frequency separation! SUGGESTION: Do a tutorial on how to preserve freckles. I once saw someone do this by creating a layer that consisted of nothing but the freckles, then do a regular skin retouch, then make the freckles layer visible -- but I don't recall how they created the freckles layer. Thanks!
Unmesh thank you so much for all the work you do to help us learn new skills. You are amazing and you have a great way of explaining things. You are awesome.
Delighted to know the content helps! Thank you for watching and I genuinely appreciate your support :)

Hi Umesh - you just popped up - an old video - then I look at this one and wow! Did you get into photoshop yourself? What a transformation! You look fab! Not that you didn't before anyway but I can sure see you've been working hard! Well done on the hard work (I know it must be a result of hard work and determination! ) ... and as for the channel - wow!!!!

This is the part of my retouching I've been missing. When working with dark skin this process is HAAAAARD and slightly incorrect adjustments will ruin the image or make it look fake. THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS !

I am new at photoshop. will you told me Which version of Photoshop are you using?
please try to reply me ❤️
He is using Photoshop 2022
If you have high end or a decent pc you should go with Photoshop 2022
But if you have low end pc than Photoshop 2020 is good because some features of 2022 don't work in low end pc's
Oh very nice for your Photoshop Tipp 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💪🏼😀

Maybe you are doing a wonderful job! Sometimes, we judge our work too hard. Either way, I'd recommend not to worry about the quality. Just have fun doing it, everything else always falls into place :)

Hahahaha
Pls keep that amazing work you're doing
It what's make us always watch your vids
The amount of knowledge you brings is just fascinating
the best part of this videOO 7:30
I like to go up to 16 bit. Also when I scan a pic to do repair I like to do high res and work with a huge file size. I find the end result for me is better when I down size it. I do it just for myself usually since I spend so much time on them. I have fixed a few for others as a surprise but those are not at high res.
It's always a great idea! 16-bit doesn't allow the adjustments to break our images up along the way.
Very nice trick, thank you. I have learned a lot from you
Amazing! You are the best!
Still the best
thank sir so much
Wonderful, I love it. I have skin very similar to the one in the photo and I can't remove the spots. Thank you very much for your advice.
Thanks for the video 🇳🇬💞💞
Very nice.
just wow
