How to Test a MOSFET With a Digital Multimeter

MOSFETs or Field Effect Transistors are used in almost 100% of electronic equipment today.
Testing a MOSFET is crucial to know its good condition or to change it in case it has been damaged.
A MOSFET has three terminals: SOURCE, GATE, and DRAIN.
Since MOSFETs are voltage-activated devices, we can use a digital multimeter in DIODE FUNCTION that delivers about 3V in open circuit, and thus trigger the MOSFET causing it to conduct.
