I play this is my band and i thought this preformance was pretty good . I liked the articulations but watch the attack in the bigining and remember the accents are DIT TOE DIT TOE . I also think youre rushing in the 108 tempo but overall this was a good preformance !
Wow, where is the intonation. I played this with our 8th Grade Symphonic Band and as bad as I thought we were. It didn't compare to this performance. Intonation is key to lyrical pieces like Creed. And once that can be mastered, maybe your band director will throw Alvamar Overture at you as a freshman band.
Might just be me but at the first scale, the bells weren't in sync with the flutes... Also, trumpets, make sure YOUR BELL IS UP AND YOU DON'T PLAY INTO THE STAND. The sound reflects from the stand and you would think that you're playing extremely loud, but you're really not. But otherwise, loved it! God job!
Very Well done. The clarinet and flute sections are strong, powerful, and ready. Your saxophones are also prepared for all parts. Alto's, remember that you can't be sloppy in this piece. At the parts of rallentando and allegrando, you kind of sounded a bit all over the place. Your ending allegrando could have been a bit slower to add dramatic effect. As well, the trumpets need to remember to tongue when need, not slow, and add that mmPAH (Accent Sound :p), Other than that, Well done!
Flutes watch ur intonation ! Also there's needs to be better blending and balancing between the instruments, lower voices need to be heard much better. Also trumpet solo was sharp!
We are playing this much faster for some reason which still sounds good but I prefer this version good
My band in school is playing this song. It's so fun!
Playing this song tomorrow in festival!
We’re learn to play this song in my band! I like it so far, it’s pretty fun!
We, grade 7ths just did this song for a concert, it is a great piece for a band, not that hard.
Watch that tuning first trumpets
Will Vetter Was about to say that
Real
I play this on the flute and this performance’s flutes they seemed to be a beat off.
But that’s just me being nit picky
This is a great piece. Well done!
Nice and strong music played overall
we played this at a festival and we did better than the high schools there
Ya my band did too and we got platinum! They were just rushing with the piece
The trumpet solo at 62 was...interesting
2nd trombones where you at?
Great band, just watch for balance and in tune notes. I am getting a lot of trumpet and saxophone not as much clarinet and flute.
Apparently my music teacher is in this band
