Swedish Army Surplus Vintage Webbing, Harness Set, M58/59.

M58/59 Webbing set. I am not sure, but I believe that these were made from the late 1950's to early 1980's or whenever the 304 Webbing set was made.
This is an unused one that I lucked out for $12 + shipping.
iIt was sent with 2 long straps, which I believe, to carry a bed roll or heavy parka.
I also did not state in the video, that I believe the apparently unused buckles are to attach the hooks onto for stability.

The clips on the top of the main bag clip onto the bottom of the metal slides on the webbing to stop it flopping down. ATB

I believe that the ”stridsbälte 304k” (combat belt 304k) was introduced in the early -80. We had the 304k during my military service in 90/91. The 304k was replaced by the “stridsväst 2000” (combat vest 2000) in early 2000. The change between different equipment is not done over a night it takes years. For example I know soldiers that still used the Swedish army Trangia in 2016 and maybe after that even though it was replaced in 2009 by the soldier stove 09.

1988-94
