Makes total sense why companies like Behringer and inMusic are creeping up on the big names. Price fixing with only your two biggest competitors will only ruin you over a long period of time. This works for organizations like OPEC because they include the biggest oil producers in the world. For Fender, Roland and Korg it might work for a generation, but the new generation of kids who could never afford that stuff, are going to grow up loving the cheap stuff, and they’re going to replace those dinosaurs because they don’t have any need for them.

Also, I find it very funny as well as troubling that when a record label and or band doesn't want to license their music for whatever project, that's it's perfectly legal for whomever to use a sound alike ... yeah, we've all heard this term before, "a sound alike" to then produce a copy cat version of that song, including the voice, that they wanted to use in the 1st place. It's a legal bypass, legal loophole. Sure, you still pay licensing fees for the music, etc. There are thousands of songs out there that are legal copycats. Just do a Google search. I've listen to podcasts where copyright lawyers have said that all these produces of these A.I. songs have to do is clearly label the song as "satire" or, "in the style of" ... that this fact alone would shield anyone from copyright claims and or a take down of their song. Sorry but there are 1,000 guys out there that sounded like Drake before Drake sounded like Drake. It's silly. This is why these lawsuits will fail. There is literally no legal ground whatsoever.
