Too many people in general think that any expressed rule about anything to favor anyone else in any way is an invitation to oppose that rule. So long as you can’t get consequences. Studying in my 60s for a Canadian license now, getting high 80s on practice tests, but starting to think it won’t be worth it because of all this. I’m starting to get now what the appeal is of FT8.
All good stuff…And when shouting your callsign at the station calling CQ do not append your callsign with something like “Alan in Wisconsin for you John” 😡
DX Code of Conduct 🤪Unfortunately common sense and courtesy goes out the window. A few years ago I was Motorcycle Mobile, one OP which I had a QSO with listed me on a DX Cluster. Within seconds I had the "world" calling me, the amount of shouting was unbelievable. I switched off and drove home. Its the same behaviour during Contests.
Unfortunately common sense isn't overly common. It also seems every one also forgets the golden rule. "Do on to others as you have them do on to you." Merry Christmas, Stuart.
