What you think after 11 months? The company I currently work with are using the oleo mac brush cutter, it's my first time with them and I think they are terrible. They need tuning with the smallest of weather changes, leak fuel like crazy, seem to lack power, it seems like you have too go over the same patch of grass again and again and again and again, I have a 6 year old husqvarna 135 which is over 30cc less than the oleo mac and cuts so much better. I find the oleo mac very heavy, new guys struggle a LOT with getting them set up and cutting without gouging the ground. They also get very, very hot in no time at all. I've never had my back burned by a strimmer until using these.
We’ve never had a problem with oleo mac, we were using them commercially for years without fault. We might have been lucky, with the models we chose, but overall have been very happy with them. This new one we bought, might have been a bit on the larger size, but the wife is very happy using it.
I’ve had an Oleo Mac strimmer for 20 years and it’s never gave me any problems. It’s had practically zero maintenance (replaced a perished fuel line and cleaned the air filter and that’s it). Done a mountain of work and never missed a beat. Maybe the newer ones aren’t as good but I’ve heard the chainsaws are still ultra reliable.
Well that's the Hobbit going to work then.
I know this is a SUUUPER niche video to make, but guys like me dearly appreciate you! Thank you, Ben!
Hours of fun. Grt video 👍🏼
