This dimmer is very good and simple, I would like to implement it to use as a strobe with light intensity control, could it be adapted and if you have an idea, thank you
Hello, First of all, thank you for your informative video. i need some help. If I need to connect more than one triac how do I do that. For example, I want to light 5 lamps. Can you help with the code?
Hi! I really like your explanation, maybe you could expand/tweak a bit more this circuit and put a snubber RC circuit too, for inductive load use. I have a question for you: I'm new in Proteus and I see you use two types of GND. Are they insolated from each other? Where can I find the Eart sign what you used on the AC side? Thnx bro for help and for this nice vid.
Please make this kind of video with Nodemcu esp8266 which is controlled via android apps through wifi. There is no such kind of video over youtube and google. I have already searched for several times.
Hello, i have downloaded your rar file, the difference in simulation is varying the pot hg, the voltage runs from 224v to low voltage but without completing the 100percentage it starts again in 23% again as 224, is it ok?
kazi nzuri sana kaka, why R7 is 1k? how to calculate it? for my understanding, current of the led of4n35 will be around 2 - 3mA due to large resistors value, May you please help me to understand more?
That is 4n25 .. You can get the actual limiting resistor value by using this formula supply voltage -maximum forward voltage divide by the maximum forward current
@@GhubaidaHassani as for your formula, the limiting resistor value I get is 21kohms which will be dissipating more than 2Watts each if I use two of them, maybe too much power loss!, but I realize led of 4n35 can turn on and trigger the transistor to allow few mAs with 3mA provided by your circuit, am I right? Thank you, I learn a lot from your video too.
Hi I Like your Videos I want to build the AC dimmer as AC ON-OFF switch Can I use the same circuit with the ESP8266 Node MCU ]WIth ESP8266 Node MCU to enable PWM on a certain pin, use analogWrite(pin, value); where the pin is the digital pin, and value a number between 0 and 1023] Use case : 1. When I set 0 value to the digital pin by analogWrite bulb should turn OFF. 2. When I set 512 value to the digital pin by analogWrite bulb should set to brightness 50%. 3. When I set 1023 value to the digital pin by analogWrite bulb should set to brightness 100%. I have a doubt : Arduino NANO gives an output voltage of 5Volt but ESP8266 nodeMCU gives 3.3 Volt. will this works please replay to me I am learning a lot from your Videos. Part : MOC3021 and BT136
I think R3 and R4 may dissipate around 450mWatts, your load connection does not affect the zero detection side since they are connected in parallel from the main.
Greetings friend, you can place the proteus design and the arduino code to download in the description of the video, I would be very grateful, and to see the video is very explicit

I use 4n35 instead of 4n25, on Proteus it works very well. but when i make the circuit it can't detect zero

is it okay if didn't use the step down transformer? what if the step down transformer is used, will it works ?
Yes but circuit will be bigger and costy.
Excellent, thank you so much.
Thanks too.. i will appreciate your support
