Premier Pallet Racking | Metcash Installation Timelapse

We’re proud to announce the completion of our 4th major Distribution Centre project for Metcash, marking yet another milestone in our ongoing partnership. Over the years, we've successfully delivered complex installations across Australia, including:
Berrinba QLD - IHG Mitre10 (completed 2019)
Gepps Cross SA - Metcash DC (completed 2020)
Ravenhall VIC - IHG Mitre10 (completed 2022)
Each project presented its own unique set of challenges, especially given Metcash’s diverse array of custom bay profiles. These unique requirements added extensive complexity to the construction process and made the installation process even more intricate. Despite these hurdles, we’ve consistently met tight, non-negotiable deadlines with success and precision.
One of the most demanding aspects of these projects was the addition of auxiliary components like the newly introduced Mesh Fall From Height (MFFH) system, which helps prevent pallets from being pushed over into adjacent rows. This Metcash project also includes a range of other features, such as Carton Live Storage (CLS), mesh deck shelving, shelf dividers, fire barriers, Dangerous Goods (DG) case, in rack sprinklers, front and back upright protectors, rack end protectors, and more. All of this was accomplished without extending the completion timeline.
Through careful planning and execution, we’ve not only met Metcash’s stringent requirements but also ensured that the designs are future-proof. This has been a true test of our team's expertise, commitment, and ability to deliver under pressure.
Our team at Premier Pallet Racking would like recognise Rans Rayos, our National Project Manager, for providing Metcash with his meticulous service, being heavily involved in the design and sales process from the beginning of the project. It is his fourth Metcash project that he has managed, and hopefully there will be many more to follow!
