@@everonward. Different things really depending on how I’m vibing that day. I think they’re great for helping to transition into different seasonal energies - I will just pull the deck for the new season and sit with a cup of tea and slowly look through the deck, absorbing and enjoying the images and message - that feels like it helps to recalibrate me. I will use them in daily card pulls as a foundation message for a reading and then expand using tarot to see how I can further tap into the energies of the card. I’ll use them for nurturing pulls to see what I can benefit from more in that season. And I’ll also use the decks intentionally sometimes for manifestation or intention-setting - looking through each card and mindfully choosing one that I want to harness and placing it on display for reflection and intentions each day. I also occasionally like to use the rituals in the guidebook. Hope that gives a bit of inspiration
Also, although they are somewhat specific I do think that any of the decks can be used year round. Sometimes we just need some Samhain vibes even during Litha 😂
ooh i love the idea of going through the deck around the beginning of each season - that absorption and calibration sounds so nourishing, especially with a cup of tea! 🫖 i’m definitely going to be trying that. recently i’ve done what you said around focusing on one card, as well as just reading solely with one deck, but it’s been a while since i’ve used it as a starting point too. that’s my go to so i’ve tried to shy away from it but i think it’s time to play with pairs again lol and i agree, i usually find myself in the opposite seasons, looking for that contrasting energy. i’m sorry it took a while to get back to you. i really appreciate you sharing so thoughtfully! ✨🍂🌞💛

i'm so so happy you are back! i've missed you. I have a lot to write about topics you've mentioned but it would be tragically long comment (and since you were gone - my english writing regressed) i will keep it simple (or i will try). Sacred Hags - I wasn't able to bond with that deck. I used it for maybe 2 weeks for evening drawing (something like: what lesson i could learn from that day) and 2 or 3 cards always showed up, so i got bored, especially becouse i couldn't easly apply it to the day I had, mood/events nothing. and yes, maybe it was constantly same lesson i did not learn, but... Then I switched to Poesis (I have french mass market version) and that was deep and profound. I had very good time with that deck. But then Spring came and for me late spring and summer are seasons of painting and pencil drawing rather than Tarot. Tarot for me is something I am drawn to in colder time of the year. don't know why but it is like that at least for 10 years.
PS about Antique Anatomy - i love it, but for me that deck always was very serious like "don't bother me if you have some trivial questions, or i will hit you". Answers i've got was always spot on, but in kind of way "you have to do something with it, if you aren't willing to do it right, don't ask me, choose different deck".
oh my goodness so lovely to see you again as well 🤍🤍 i’m so intrigued about your experience with the sacred hags. i agree it so hard to truly apply to anything. maybe i need to try it for a specific type of reading, maybe check again what’s in the book. who knows? maybe i should just give up lol i’m just stubborn! and yes i’m so glad we all agree how wonderful poesis is! very profound and it feels so very human.
how interesting too that you’re drawn to tarot in a particular season. that’s so beautiful to me. i love how the seasons affect our feelings and habits. and how cool, i myself have also been painting and drawing these days! it’s been so long and it just felt right. i’d love to know what kinds of ideas and subjects you draw and paint.
