Follow Me has got to be one of the best breakdowns in the history of trance. I can remember hearing it for the first time and it brought tears to my eyes, it felt like an Angel had just entered the room. It felt like i was in heaven. This was the beauty of true Trance music.
That tune is timeless. No matter how many times I play it, each time is like the first time I heard it. It’s one of those tunes you feel as well as hear and that’s a rarity. Superb producer and DJ. Great interview, Twann 😃❤️🙌🏼

I don’t know what it was (still, I don’t) but between 1999 and 2001 I enjoyed the most superbly made dance music ever. Maybe Y2K expectation, a simple world, no terrorism or Soviet Union. It was a magical time to be young and full of energy. I started the party scene in 1987 and stopped in 2011. But that period I mentioned was the best in my humble opinion. Let’s be clear, we had a lot of electronic instruments, but not like today. Classic perfection.
Totally agree! Like when they announced there would be a Dumonde remix of Symsonic, it was sooo hyped up, and they STILL delivered a massive tune! Props to them, one of the all-time great producers imo. Talk about "signature sound", if there ever was one, Dumonde has it while still not being repetitive.

For me Lange is greatest remixer for trance! He made a lot of great tracks starts sounding absolutely incredible!!! It’s no chance to not mention Red sun rising remix, surreal just can’t get enough remix and Agenda - Heaven is just no comments.... that’s Trance!

These interviews are great. I was a teenager in Massachusetts during Trance's heyday. Where I grew up there weren't many resources to get to know dj/producers like we have today. Lange has some great productions. Great work Twan.
"Let it all out" and "Live Forever" are my favourite Lange tracks, they were basically remix gold and have vocals that literally transport me back a decade every time I hear them.
Still one of my absolute favourite trance tracks of all time never gets boring I was meant to see lange live at gatecrasher and just before he came on and also played follow me my fiance fell down the stairs so I missed his set. Gutted was not the word 🤣
Great stuff - first time ive actually heard him speak haha. He was definatly one of the best Trance producers in the late 90's - such an unmistakable uplifting style. Its still his best era imo.
He has been one of the biggest influencers of my passion for trance which ironical led me to find you and your work of which I have been listening lot if lately just orderd some special double 12" vynils from lange records. Keep up the good work and also lange is back producing this year
One of my fave dance tunes, heard it first on cream 99 before Kevin & Perry made it famous. Still glad that K&P brought it to mainstream attention as it's a quality dancefloor tune.
