- Pretty much the story of Loki. How could I not have done this since he's probably one of the most interesting comic book characters I've ever seen. Not every bit of the story is in here but if I would have had everything in here then it would have been 8 maybe 12 minutes long. Trust me I could do a 12 minute video about Loki but I don't think anyone else wants to watch that :)
Such a great and sad story.
loved his family but always felt like an outsider.
He planned a war to win just to show his father he is worthy son.
Then discovers he was not the son of Odin. but the Son of an enemy.
He is angry not just at his father. but Thor his brother.
feeling more and more less as a son.
Even in the end. when he's about to fall into the abyss.
He doesn't beg for mercy. Doesn't beg for his life.
He just looks at his father saying he was worthy. He could have been a good son.
and Odin just turns away in shame.
Which to Loki was worse than death.
Due to insecurity and envy/jealousy towards his brother. Narcissistic or symptoms of such.
Loki comes from evil genes, so, it's very easy for one to fall if not directed properly in life, other words he's more prone/inclined to become an evildoer. Insecurity = fear (threatened, jealous..etc..) - Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.
I would watch a 12 minute vid about Loki, He is the most interesting person in the marvel universe.

When Loki is having the fight with Odin...that's got to be my favorite part...the emotion in Loki's voice when he says "Cause I'm the monster parents tell their children about at night" gets me every time and even when he yells "Tell me" or when he points out that Odin always favored Thor
Odin is the one who made Loki become a bad person. He crushed his heart with his one fist and then he acted like he didn't know why did Loki become the 'monster'. He acted as if Loki is the villain, without realizing that he is the one who created him that way. From an innocent boy to world's biggest enemy.
Sometimes I just realize how sad the story of Loki is.It really is and I feel so sad for him.Some videos just bring that out and make me almost cry.
if thor's farther had been kind and understanding to loki at the point when loki is about to let go then maybe loki wouldn't have been so bad. instead of just saying "no loki" and comply tearing loki's heart

Every time I feel sad he goes and makes me smile then I'm sad again. It's like I'm on a roller coaster. Loki please stop playing with my emotions. You already have me in the palm of your hand.
Your video revealed the reasons why I love Loki so much. He's not just some self-centered, horrible, bloodthirsty villain. He was pushed over the edge by the harsh truth that was hidden from him all of his life, on top of living in the shadow of Thor. He even says "I never wanted the throne. I only wanted to be your equal." He just wanted to be loved and appreciated by his father, who had neglected him his whole life. And this video shows his true character. The face behind the mask.
I'd watch 12 hours of Loki! But seriously, this video perfectly encapsulates the downward spiral of Loki's mind during the first Thor movie. It really is heartbreaking to watch. Great job!

I watched Captain America, Iron Man and Thor in class too. My classmates just brought the laptops and we used the projector.

I remember watching Thor in class, and being the only one cheering for Loki. After he let go of the staff, I was just sitting there thinking about how Odin could have so easily Prevented it. This video wraps up, in just four minutes, everything I love about Loki. Thank you.
It was truly surprising when I realized I can relate to Loki pretty well. At first I had no interest in listening to my other friends about how they see me as him. It wasn't until I finally had the chance to see the movie Thor for myself. I started crying silently and made sure my parents weren't looking. The impact was so great my heart showed me how misunderstood Loki was, and that made me think twice about judging any other Villain because of the word Evil that covers up their story of how they turned out to be like that. Since then I've been and always will be ready to defend anyone like him, and in real life.
So pretty much I've just made it obvious that I'm apart of Loki's Army.😆

Ah, here I am, back again 8 years and a long marvel journey later. And I still love this vid. It does so much justice to Loki's complexity (perhaps one of the only redeeming values of the first Thor movie). This was that movie that introduced me to the fan universe, and provided me with my first fictional crush with Loki, so it will always hold a special place in my heart, no matter how much the more recent films have shaded this one.
My heart breaks everytime I see Loki say
" I could've done it father, I could've done it, for you, for all of us"
Everytime Loki yells "Tell me!" a sharp pain shoots through my stomach.
Oh gosh. I got choked up at the end and tears started to form in my eyes.
Yes! I fell in love with the character in the comic books, not just Tom Hiddleston's portrayal of him. And characters in comic books aren't deliberately made to look gorgeous, and no, he doesn't look gorgeous. The point is, he's relatable, and a good character too.
Loki. One of the very few Marvel villains that I can't stop loving.
This brought me to tears. I loved the way you put the actual lines from the movie overtop of the music.

No matter how many times I read, see, hear Lokis story it always moves me so deeply that I end up crying. His character is so dimensional and has so much potential, I wish they would give him his own movie to tell his side of the story.

This is spectacular. I love the part where Odin and Loki are talking about his past. More than any other cinematic villain, Loki is chillingly human. And he thought the Avengers were desperate.

I love so much Loki's story.... the feels...
I love this video I keep coming to watch it. The scene with Odin and Loki arguing is so depressing. You can see Odin's heart just breaking when Loki found the truth. Even though Loki was right. they kept his birth a secret because He comes from the monsters his people have grown to fear. He's still his son and still hurts.
Every single dang time Loki yells, "TELL ME!" I get a lump in my throat. Tom is an amazing actor. He looked like a kicked puppy :(
"i'm not your brother, i never was," kinda sounds like the thing you would just say to hurt someone, but when you think about it, it just goes to show the kind of pain loki was in.
The biggest kudos to Tom Hiddleston for his portrayal as Loki. He brought so much life in this character, so much pain and despair, that he made you support him, even though he had fucked up in numerous times.
I would rather watch this then listen to music videos! This is the first video i watch every morning and before i go to bed at night! Your video is sweet! XD GO LOKI

Make a longer one of Loki and I`ll watch. I love Loki and always have. I actually pray to him and have for a long time. Ever since I read about him in grade school I loved Loki.

That was beautifully put together. I can feel Loki's pain, .... I wonder if he will ever find a love to make up for all that hurt, but it is a fiction comic, a great villain, anti-hero, of all time. Still, my guilty pressure is for Loki to become something more, a better hero more so than just rescuing the helpless.

I don't care who you are, when your son would lead an enemy into your kingdom so he could kill him to save you. When your son would destroy an entire WORLD because he loves you, even after he found out that you lied to him for his whole life about who he really is. When your son didn't want power or the throne, but to be worthy in your eyes, you don't frikking say "No"

You know, I normally don't cry at movies, but I did with this. At the end, Loki letting go after Odin told him no.. guh. Loki pretty much attempted suicide by letting go, and that gets at me, right in the feels.

Tom said in an interview that it was his favorite scene. That Ken asked him to strip away his strength as a man, his charisma, his charm. That he wanted to see Tom's vulnerability, his soul. And Tom said he felt it was a privledge to do that for someone of Kenneth's stature.
