I love this idea but I hate the dial-based speed controllers. My Ego mower has the same system and I'm constantly adjusting it around corners, obstacles, etc. IMHO the best system would be based on the angle of the handle, if it's more horizontal then increase the speed, if it's almost vertical then decrease the speed.
Yes, I do happen to agree with you that I’m not a huge fan of the dial speed controller. Also, the markings on it are hard to see so you really are not sure what speed you have it in. The more I’ve used it the more I’ve just gotten used to it and familiar with the position of the dial. my other thought is that I wish the actual activation of the motor wasn’t part of the grip because there have been a few times where I’ve been holding onto the handle and pushing down on the motor activation button and wanted to stop the wagon, but didn’t want to let go of the grip, but you have to let go of the grip in order to stop the wagon motor. Personally I think they could use an entire redesign of the handle.
What’s the max distance it can go fully loaded on one full battery charge on a smooth road? Also, do you have to have that extra gadget to charge the batteries?
