Have stayed away from beer up until now. This soap makes me excited to try it. The beer is cold but what temp are the oils when you put them together? Thanks for sharing your great ideas!!!
Something I see a lot in soaping groups is people worrying because unscented beer soap smells awful. Give it time. I made a beer bastille soap with no fragrance, and it took about 3 days for the smell to go away.
Hi! The oils are in our 2 Quart Glass Mixing Bowl, here's the link: www.brambleberry.com/shop-by-product/tools-and-accessories/containers/2-quart-glass-mixing-bowl/IB000050.html
Anne Marie with the "only one set of eyes"always cracks me up. I wonder where she gets her spare parts for arms, hands legs etc..lol...sorry not being serious I jkust think it's funny. The soap looks good. didn't know about the lye/alcohol reaction, prob cos I never use it
Melt and pour soaps do come in beer bases, depending on where you live. OR just buy your regular base and add a beer scent. The scents are non alcoholic so no need to worry, just use as you would any other fragrance oil. Adding actual beer to a melt and pour base, no.
Soaps without fragrance tend to take on the more neutral scents of what they're made of. For example, oils like hemp seed oil will give a more nutty smell and beeswax will give a slight honey scent.
@@witchypath917 HDPE plastic - over time lye etches glass, after a while the glass can shatter. When it happens it's unpredictable and unsafe - you can have shatters of glass mixed in with a lye solution. It has happened to me.
@@lindahalpern5722 I’m pretty that she mentioned that the containers she uses for the lye are made of plastic in another video, she doesn’t say it in every video but she always uses either plastic or heat-safe glass containers for lye
I agree. Any soap maker knows that. But she'll figure it out when her glass of lye breaks and goes everywhere. Teach proper safety if you're going to do a class

I want to start a business but the regulations in Europe make it really hard I don't know any more is it worth it. The more research I do the more initial investment I need to make. Is there someone here who has actually started selling soap in EU?
PLEASE do a soap without Olive oil. Olive oil is a little bit expensive in Brazil, it's "cruel" use tô make a soap that Will take months to be good to use...
That's not true that you have to cook the alcohol off first. I don't cook it off and neither does Ariane Arsenault We add the lye to the oils first then the alcohol and have never had a problem.

The thumbnail for this video instantly reminded me of the old Viennetta ice cream cakes that were popular in the 80s.
The more I watch these videos the more I'm inspired to start my own soap making business.
I have also made a beer soap with your lemon honey fragrance. It was amazing!
I just made a batch of my beer soap (no charcoal, just oats and coffee) and it always smells soooo good in the studio.
OMG I LOVE this fragrance oil!! I've recommended it to many in the soaping groups and they've loved it too. Very nice soap!! 💞
Have stayed away from beer up until now. This soap makes me excited to try it. The beer is cold but what temp are the oils when you put them together? Thanks for sharing your great ideas!!!
Bear soap is on my list for very long, u have me a reason to make one.. 😊
I love this fragrance oil. We make our Guinness beer soap with it. Great video.
When I saw the thumbnail I thought “oh, is she baking a Napoleon pastry?” Nope, just soap, lol!

Absolutely beautiful 💕💕💕💕
Omg im shivering here seeing you holding the lye 😁... The practice makes everything perfect... You are my real role model😍
Thank you!
Lovely. I have yet to make a beer soap. But one of these days, I shall 😊
Look beautiful 😍
I love you guys! Thank you for these videos. You Dolls rock! Xoxo
Any reason you couldn't freeze the boiled beer to minimize the smell/scorching?
This looks incredible! If I can find a similar fragrance oil in the UK I will try it out.
Can we use water soluble fragrance oil in cold process soaps
What size glass pitcher did you use? Oils already melted and cooled when you added the beer lye water blend.

Beautiful soap. Why did the one batch seem more brown rather than the black of the 2nd batch? I like the brownish one!
I .wondering the same thing
Beautiful 😻
Is there any alternative to the coffee butter? I can't seem to find it here in the UK.
You can always use cocoa butter, just make sure you run the recipe through your lye calculator to make sure everything works correctly.
love it
Can you make this as a melt and pour
Did you cool the lye/beer mixture to what temperature?
how long does this soap cure for.
Is that recipe in your soaping book ?
Is this recipe in your soaping book?
Another gorgeous soap. Any suppliers in Australia, NSW Sydney
What about 0% alcohol beer? Can it be used directly?

Woww
Aren't we supposed not to use any metal spoon with lye solution?
As a chemistry major the glass container for the lye solution, bothers me - otherwise I enjoy Anne-Marie's videos.
What would you put it in?
