  • In this video I take another look at the Makita multitool and show how to use cheap blades with the new adaptor. Is this now a game changer or is it still over priced for what it is? or should you still go for the DeWalt Multitool.

Oslo Tool has stopped selling the adapter, unfortunately. I wish there was a similar alternative.

Hi, yes, I heard that they had stopped selling the adapter. To be honest, these days, I tend to buy the cheaper starlock blades of Amazon still get the job done.

i only got this because of the anti vibration technology . the DeWalt rattles your hand off. and realistically once you've bought the adapter your going to save a lot of money in the long run. and save those carbide blade for those special jobs (because they cost £20 plus ) i work with aluminum and steel though so the anti vibe is definitely something i need.

Does anyone know where you can get these adaptors? Oslo no longer sell them.

Sorry, I don't think anyone does them now, but you can get the starlock blades a lot cheaper on Amazon now. Thanks for watching
