I have at least 6 vids where the invaders run and jump off nearest cliff lol its way better than a riposte! Im gonna make a shit tier vid that 36 of my subs may or may not watch but if you did it, oh man could it be epic! Like your backstab porn vid montage, now that would be great to watch! Not to self promote or anything, but if you want a bees knees example, watch my 1 min vid called "neverending sorcery". I subbed, I'm trying out your greatlance build right now. It's great but I'm getting destroyed by the straight sword and parry. I may try this build next but it seems to be more efficient in invasions. Great work man, keep it up!
don't worry that weapon takes some serious time to learn. don't use pyro within during duels only for invasions and for fun. The DMB combo alone will hit for 1100-1200+ dmg.
allocate attributes exit to roasria menu (give pale tongue, change appearance, change attributes etc) from attribute screen. don't exit out of it force close game from ps4 dashboard/psn home i.e the 'connection error' trick that shitebag hosts use. start --> close application re-load game, skip it's whining about 'you didn't close me down properly, muh data saving' etc re-load save - your character spawns as if you'd clicked 'exit game' to menu, but now has the new attributes/build doesn't use a pale tongue this way, so you never 'use' any of your 'limit' of 5 respecs
Gr8 build m8, proves that you can get all that damage without having the health of a dead leaf. I just hope the lothric warbanner never gets nerfed. It's one of my favorite weapons, and I actually use it to... ya know... stab people. Which comes to a shock to most of the community since they mainly only use it for the buff. I'm just into it for supporting my team, whether it be invaders, pve mobs or whoever I'm paired up with in a 4v4 match. (But never for ganking, which is the absolute worst use for it)
Yee Spicy. I love a nice little CBV turn and burn. I've been neglecting black flame lately but the dark lks almost negates having black flame unless your opponent can parry. Nothing like black flame to the face of a parry king lol Nasty build Adam. Can't wait to see what you have in store for DSR. Great jerb ham-stray.
I'd suggest in the second right weapon slot either equipping the chaos dagger for obvious reasons or at least the demon scar for when you really need to get reactionary
Absolutely disgusting. I LOVE IT! Got back into DS3 myself, that damn war banner is so versatile, great for mages and to buff other weapons as an offhand. You can get some insane damage by stacking the buff with deep protection and sacred oath, both of which still affect (non physical) spells as well (I’ve done some testing). And if you’re a baller who can avoid taking hits you can use Lloyds to reach a disgusting 40% all dmg boost.
ya it is my favorite weapon from the dlc due to so many uses it has! sacred oath and deep protection are nerfed really hard in pvp so a good switch for that is to simply bless infuse the war banner, equip lingering dragoncrest +2 and stack it with power within for 40% damage boost in pvp (can add the different head gear to make it even higher for spells).
The Lothric War Banner was a mistake. Especially for this build. Pyro spamming cancer becomes even more powerful. I can't wait to see this everywhere and have to deal with getting 1 or 2 shot by everyone. What makes it worse is that pyromancy builds are already ridiculously OP. The Buff Banner will just make it worse. Thanks From, you really nailed it this time.
Adam Barker it affects all spells actually because of the combustion being applied. Like I said though it's only at close range. If you aren't hitting someone with the first part of the cast (such as black flame and sacred flame) you won't hit with the combustion hit box. On my other channel I have that I post vids on I have my pure 50/50 120lvl Pyro that duel weilds the gloves for my different spells
Adam Barker it does nutty damage but only if that close range damage gets applied. It's also the better catalyst for damage if you're under i believe 30/30? Don't quote me on that though. I just know the combustion applies to all spells but only at close like a Talisman

I get upset when i don't see a wide variety of spells choose from since i love playing as a pyro/swordsman so much but your ring choices all work together great and your prowess at pvp does most of the work.
Had the idea for running this after using LWB with faith and it looks nastier than I could imagine! Also looks like this has a spare spell slot (which could be used by Power Within)?
ya dude I can't say enough good things about this build, absolute monster and not even situational. offhand it with a good weapon and it kinda covers all the issues since the war banner itself is not so great.

Ever try the same build with demon scar? I know less damage but having a curve sword gives you a lot more options than just regular pyro glove IMO, fun looking build though
Oh and I believe the parting flame does less damage for a 40/40 Intel, faith split than regular pyro glove (not 100% sure) but did testing a LONG time ago

without 15 str u can bounce off shields and perseverance while using parting flame (mini combustion) leaving you in instability frames and screwing up the pyro. Also lose the ability to gain death echoes which can help if you run dry and need to hide behind some mobs.
less spell buff yes but it has a free extra shot of dmg up close. basically a mini combustion that costs no extra fp and can be used in combos to maximize dmg, so R2 to black with parting flame with also get the extra dmg from mini combustion :D how i like at it is use normal pyromancy flame when looking for soley range attacks and use parting flame for everything up, even use it for range so people try to close the distance then hit em with the big dmg.

nah both some of the best pyros in the game. Surge for zoning and ez chip and black serpent for zoning and combos, mix ups etc. If you use fire surge with this build and a normal pyro glove you can do about 85-100+ dmg a single hit so you just spray em down lol.

The great lance only works if you stagger then use weapon art. Too many people just charging in, getting parried, then drop.

use the respec glitch, allows you to make a new build without using a respec :D handiest thing next to cheat engine for us build makers!

I remember doing something similar with power within back when 3v3s were popular, you can imagine the hatemail!
You could also equip sunlight straight sword in right hand. Buff that first then switch to the banner. They stack
such a short window for 5% dmg buff though, didn't really feel it to be worth it.

Hey as a tip using the parting flame actually gives higher damage for cast such as black flame and closer ranged black serpent

I just noticed you have 15 strength instead of the 14 required. Mistake on the build or was that for a few more AR points?
