Dude YES, this is exactly what I was hoping for! I always play melee focused builds and really wanted to try pyro focused but never knew how to build it up during the early stages. You always find guides that are end game but never actually walking you through, showing what stats to prioritize when. I love it man, thank you!

For the Wolnnir's boss, if you do somehow fail to pick it up, it will reappear on the left of the room where you touch the gobelet to start the boss, just in case ! :)
Hands down insane build I'm currently bout to face the princes and this build got me there with ez 10/10
The jump cuts really don't help in certain sections like Farron Swamp where I cannot tell where the hell you're going because you cut it off before I can tell.

So as a beginner to Dark Souls, I didn't know that you could recruit that hunchback in the undead settlement bridge, and killed him like a fucking idiot. It wasn't until I saw this video that I realized my mistake.
First time i played i put the controller down and heavy attacked the shop woman by accident lol rip

This part does not seem to work on console what do i do?
you wanna go ahead and instead of going to the ledge go to the bridge, hit it so it falls down similar to how you enter smouldering lake. From there u have to get down properly to the bonfire at the bottom which you should be able to see, spook can help with that. great video. btw. if you were in dlc you could collect Onyx Blade. getting it is simple. OB is a one of most powreful weapon for pyro.
Yep, as i mentioned in another comment there are a lot of viable pyro weapons and the onyx blade is definitely one of them.

am just wondering at 18:44 how did the dancer give you 82k souls while i killed her with silver serpent ring and only got 66k ? even if i cash in her soul ill only be at 76k
am so confused
it didn't, i had 6.5k souls going into the fight and I sold some stuff so I could level properly and not have too many in my inventory

ive only ever done pure strength and also dex/strength builds in from soft games.
At 23:00 I can't get the titanite slab fall to work everytime I spawn in I'm at the top where I jumped from any advice?
It probably means you're quittinf out too soon, ir it might be PC exclusive if you're on console. You can hear your character scream as he hits the floor, thats when you want to quit out. If that still doesn't work, you have to take the long route and cheese vilhelm to get it. It's a bit annoying but definitely doable. I'm sure there is a yt guide flying around on how to get the slab. Gl
Actually all you have to do is go across the bridge knock it down and climb to the bottom and once you’re there get the bonfire and from it turn left and go to the end of that path you’ll find a tree lady after killing her a ladder will spawn nearby and you can climb it for the slab it’s not too hard

For anyone who is coming to this comment late It works on console you just have to time it right try to exit when your character is just about to hit the ground ( you can see when you land at the corner of your screen) that’s how I did it at least
i just did it on the ps4, the timing is a little different, you have to time it a second before the scream starts, and idk if this changes anything but when i got it i was over 70% weight

In order to gain free levels from Yoel you need to die a few times, until the emblem in the top left turns grey. Only if you take those levels Yuria will spawn. Which we need in order to buy the Dark Hand

Doing a pyro build for the first time has made me seriously rethink my life choices lol, is it just me or is it so much harder to a be a caster or pyro because of having to dump souls into extra stats. I still need a descent melee weapon, so I infused a broadsword with Dark to scale with the pyro build. Which is working good now but couldn’t do it until mid game. Stats in Fth, Intl, Vgor, Atment, probably endurance, and the minimal requirements for strength and Dex at least. Plus leveling the weapon and the pyro hand. It’s double everything! Or maybe I did it wrong. But Dark Broadsword has A in Intel and Faith scaling I believe!
