This is not really a spoiler, but there are 2 sternritter Y's, they are twins. The one yamamoto fought had the ability to copy anyone's appearance and memories and the other one can copy someone's appearance, and strength. That was the one who transformed into Kenpachi and was one of the 3 who he killed
"The heart burns, but the rain is still falling". They foreshadowed this last episode. Yama's burning anger clouded his judgement... And what happens when the warm sky is clouded? You later get RAIN to put out the heat
I love when Yamamoto's sword touched the ground and the whole floor went to destruction. This is the best fight and episode I have watched so far! and the best is yet to come! :D
Old man Yama bringing all the flames into his zanpakto and saying bankai is bone chilling even when I was reading it (while listening to treachery OST that's sometimes Kenny's or Aizen's theme) I got chills
All I’m going to say is this. Ywhach needed to bait Yamamoto to fight that Sternritter to expend some of his energy before coming to feel safe and do clean up. I loved the adaptation though. Manga mentioned him visiting Aizen via Ywhach and Yamamoto conversation, but did not show us actual Aizen and Ywhach conversation. Zanka No Tachi WEST was not shown or explained to us as well as I thought, they explained the temperature part but they didn’t explain that it’s much like an armor and he can make it disappear and go invisible while still having it be in effect. They didn’t show the entire picture of Yamamoto at the end being cut. They slightly didn’t get the atmosphere I was thinking of when Yamamoto activated Bankai and was showing the atmosphere being drained of water though. A few minor things were cut that I thought would’ve been use to truly show the extent of Yamamotos power But those are just minor gripes, that are nothing compared to the greatness we were given.
They cut the backstory of Royd, as well as the further explanation of Yama's bankai, to give us new content on the discussion with Aizen, which we didnt get in the manga.
Some mild spoilers but Most likely we will get the full shot of Yamamoto cut down in the opening scene next week with just his lower half still standing and then into the shun sui content describing the old man Yama as the “monster” if memory serves me. It’s been a while since I read TYBW again. I still remember these chapters just killing me though when it was weekly releasing.
@@sxuuxp they didn’t show the whole part of yamamato being cut cuz that’s til next episode. That part happens in chapter 511. This episode ended at the end of chapter 510
I really liked how yamamoto is an actual threat in this battle!! Him vs Aizen was always dumb to me because it felt like he was so weak in comparison. But this time it really feels like yamamoto was actually trying this time!!
This episode easily the best episode of the year!! Really hype with this fight! I can't even sleep cuz it's going in my mind over and over! Good job Pierrot and team, Bleach fans really deserves this treatment 😎👏👏
Just a daily reminder that the animation staff for Bleach is fucking STACKED TO HELL!!! From the animators to the directors they’re literally the Justice League
To answers ur question about Aizen, yes it does seem like he’s getting stronger despite being in prison, and keep in mind he’s immortal too so he’s gonna continue to get stronger no matter what
Very high respect to Yamamoto (sorry if spelled wrong) for being an absolute monster. But I have to give my highest respect to the King for the outplay. That was dirty
The name Yhwach is a reference to the Hebrew name for God: Yahweh. Yhwach has also been spelled phonetically in some material as "Juhabach" which is pronounced as "Yu-Ha Bok (like the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach)".
Even in Prison, Aizen looks down on the Quincy King. Over the years, I've seen a lot of reactors question why some Soul Reapers withhold their full powers and try to get by with the bare minimum. While there are immediate reasons like they'd affect their allies or it's too niche of an ability to work in this specific scenario. This fight between Yama and Yhwach demonstrates the highest level of "Why?" Because as we saw first with Wonderweiss and now The Yourself, if you're famous and powerful, people are going to prepare for you and what you'll bring to the table. With Bankai Plundering, it seems like Yhwach was always going to win this fight regardless of their power scaling. As for who can take him on now... The meta answer is Ichigo since he's the main character so of course it'll come down to him. Otherwise I'd say Aizen, since it seems like Yhwach underestimates him and the Hogyoku's potential. There's also Squad 0, which was mentioned in the Pendulum flashback arc and finally the Soul King himself. We don't know much about either of those at this point.
I know some people were making fun of the title card "The Fire" and said it looked like powerpoint word art stuff but the anime team actually used the same font, color gradient and text size from the manga if you read chapter 507 "The Fire 3" colored manga that was Tite Kubo's art. Now that you've seen this episode it's ok to read chapter 507 as it contains the same content from this fight.
i've seen alot old men in anime..me personally old man yama is the most terrifying when he's real mad. i remember way back when I knew nothing of bleach and the face old man would give made me think he was like netero from hunter x hunter but man...
As a manga reader I`ve been waiting for this FOR SO LONG and it`s just WOW. As for the power scaling, as usual a bunch of people will just get stronger. Aizen also play a further role in the last arc. All I`m gonna say.
Yuha Bach's power is pretty crazy, I'd say that had he fought Yamamoto himself it would result in bankai baiting. I believe Yamamoto is stronger. He'd have recalled his bankai fast enough imo, then it'd be shikai Yamamoto versus Yuha Bach, with Yuha Bach winning. However, that would have taken a lot out of Yuha Bach and could leave him open for someone else later. *Spoilers below* Killing Royd Loyd really helped. Gaining all of his power as well as the five other Sternritter (J, O, Q, R, and the other Y brother). Plus killing what remained of squad 1, the exhaustion and stealing Bankai. Yuha truly left nothing to chance. It's how he always is. Never struggle for what you want guarantee it. That humble pie Yamamoto gave him 1000 year ago really stuck with him.
Watched this episode while on my job lunch break. LOL, prolly wasn't the best idea. Was screaming like a crazy person. 🫨😲 The hype for this reminded me of Kimtesu No Yaiba's Entertainment District, Episode 10. Too much insanity was happening! 🤯😱 Afterwards was like, reactors gonna loose it with this one! 🤣
It's nice to see they added a new scene for Aizen that wasn't in the manga, but the response was similar in manga with him refusing but it's nice to see him say it himself 😁 Really enjoyed the fight manga reader they did it justice.
Short answer: Yoo-ha Bahk (Yuha Bach). Long answer (why): Japanese is usually spoken with your tongue much further back in your throat than English so people who’s first language is Japanese usually develop their tongue muscles around that, so it’s just a matter of how the syllables are pronounced since the way you’d move your tongue for a k sound is different & so it sounds more like ba-ha-ck. For Latin-root language speakers you’d just say it like Bach the old music composer.

This fight also explains why the other quincies couldn't steal Ichigo's Bankai, his tier is so high above them that only Juha can steal it Also Zanka no Tachi is metal as fuck, it means Longsword of the Remnant Flame and the cardinal points mean: -East: Daybreak Edge -West: Dawn's Prison Garb -South: Great Burial Formation of the Ten Trillion Burnt -North: Heaven and Earth End in Ashes
well...this also proves to why he didn't use bankai against aizen/wonderweiss. imagine that redirect that wonderweiss did but the power of the bankai...but also karakura town would have been finished
Its "YU-HA-VA-KHH". Japanese doesn't have character for the breathy "KHH" so they substitute it with "HA" that's why they say it as YU-HA-BA-HA. If you notice, they pronounce the "HA" quick to emulate the "KHHHH"/"CHHHH" sound.
Remember back when Byakuya said that a bankai could never be that small and frail (Ichigo's)? Old man Yama's bankai, one of the oldest, is just as small...
Yama is not in his prime anymore. He got played because he was so drawn by his emotion for revenge and anger. Can't wait for the upcoming episodes. They are more nuts than this for sure.
The original fan translation was Juha Bach… German J is English Y.. so Yuha Bach.. that extra “ha” at the end is just the Japanese accent. So You-hah-bock… some people just say Yuha for short.
Aizen is indeed stronger now, due to him being fused with the Hōgyoku he's a transcendent being therefore by just chilling there and I guess meditating from now and then he has become absolutely busted.

This fight was amazing in the manga, but this episode elevated it to levels I didn't think were possible.
Holy fuck studio Pierrot went bankai the fucking animation the fight is the level
Hahahaha

Some mild spoilers but
Most likely we will get the full shot of Yamamoto cut down in the opening scene next week with just his lower half still standing and then into the shun sui content describing the old man Yama as the “monster” if memory serves me. It’s been a while since I read TYBW again. I still remember these chapters just killing me though when it was weekly releasing.
@@ynotwaffles yeah that’s what I was expecting since they didn’t show it here. they’re gonna start the episode off like that for sure
@@sxuuxp they didn’t show the whole part of yamamato being cut cuz that’s til next episode. That part happens in chapter 511. This episode ended at the end of chapter 510
@@Gee-bg2rv ahhhh I see, I thought it ended on that. My bad
Juha Bach.
The adaptation of Yamamoto and Royd’s fight was beautifully animated, far better then I thought it would’ve been years ago.
Can't wait for ep 7 this waiting is killing me .
I’m so hype that we have to wait a week! The anticipation is amazing
I really liked how yamamoto is an actual threat in this battle!! Him vs Aizen was always dumb to me because it felt like he was so weak in comparison. But this time it really feels like yamamoto was actually trying this time!!
14:20 lmaoooo I couldn't process what just happened either
This episode easily the best episode of the year!! Really hype with this fight! I can't even sleep cuz it's going in my mind over and over! Good job Pierrot and team, Bleach fans really deserves this treatment 😎👏👏
nah, its up there though
Just a daily reminder that the animation staff for Bleach is fucking STACKED TO HELL!!! From the animators to the directors they’re literally the Justice League
To answers ur question about Aizen, yes it does seem like he’s getting stronger despite being in prison, and keep in mind he’s immortal too so he’s gonna continue to get stronger no matter what
Very high respect to Yamamoto (sorry if spelled wrong) for being an absolute monster. But I have to give my highest respect to the King for the outplay. That was dirty
Man put Yamamoto on sale. Slashing prices just in time for the holidays
As a manga reader even without stealing Yamamoto bankai the real Yuha is beyond insane.
SK Yhwach is insane
Base Yhwach I don’t see him beating Yamamoto Bankai
The name Yhwach is a reference to the Hebrew name for God: Yahweh. Yhwach has also been spelled phonetically in some material as "Juhabach" which is pronounced as "Yu-Ha Bok (like the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach)".
THOUSAND.👏🏼 YEAR.👏🏼 BLOOD.👏🏼 WAR.👏🏼
🔥BLEACH🔥
when i finished the ep ive never cussed out my screen more then any show with the ending
Hahaha
They went all out on animation this episode 🔥
You already know ep gonna be fire when the thumbnails lookin like that
Even in Prison, Aizen looks down on the Quincy King.
Love that you added the last time on bleach lol
Aizen: "Yuha-Baha, exactly how I planned. Now I plan you to die, by... Ichigo's hand! Yes, that ma plan, beaaach!!"🤣🤣
Oh that’s pretty dope actually
They’ve been using font from the chapter titles most of the time. It’s great. But definitely just a nod to manga readers
i've seen alot old men in anime..me personally old man yama is the most terrifying when he's real mad. i remember way back when I knew nothing of bleach and the face old man would give made me think he was like netero from hunter x hunter but man...
Fiinallllly
Bleach anime of the year
I mean I’m agreeing with you so far!
I love how Aizen just went *DAGA KOTOWARU* on Yhwach. That wasn't in the manga, this dialogue is gold.
Aizen and Yhwach essentially had to get crafty to take Yama down,
FINALLY the fight ive been waiting for is here, and my god did they do a glorious job animating it.
*Spoilers below*
Killing Royd Loyd really helped.
I think we’ve all basically settled on Yoo-haw bach. Bach like the composer.
Okay okay I feel that
Watched this episode while on my job lunch break. LOL, prolly wasn't the best idea. Was screaming like a crazy person. 🫨😲
The hype for this reminded me of Kimtesu No Yaiba's Entertainment District, Episode 10. Too much insanity was happening! 🤯😱
Afterwards was like, reactors gonna loose it with this one! 🤣
this is not ep 17 level
That Yamamoto pack hitting different
It's nice to see they added a new scene for Aizen that wasn't in the manga, but the response was similar in manga with him refusing but it's nice to see him say it himself 😁 Really enjoyed the fight manga reader they did it justice.
Bleach is a MASTERPIECE
thats a stretch
@@mastixencounter Didn't ask
@@justtoolit6051 nobody asked for you comment either. where did you think you were going with that comment
@@mastixencounter Don't care
@@justtoolit6051 apparently you do
Oh they putting their entire foot into this adaptation, as a manga reader I couldn’t ask for better ….and that sir is no cap 🧢
Manga didn't show Yamamoto using his shikai against Yhwach, he went straight to bankai; nor did Kubo show Yhwach meeting Aizen.
The manga did show him using his shikai against royd, its in chapter 506
now just imagine we get a fight of this or close to this quality at LEAST once per season
Yamamoto literally said just the tip 😂
5:29 Me: When it’s been 1000 years and she says “just the tip”
😂
This was by far one of the saucyest animation I've seen so far! And it's only ep06! Can't wait to see other bankai's animated! 🤩😍🤩😍🤩😍🤩😍
AYYYYEEEE THE NEW INTROS..!!!!
Thanks!! I appreciate you liking them!
“That tiny scorched sword is his bankai”
Man was about to make the mistake
Byakuya made about ichigo
This is one of the Special Battle Interests of this Arc....and there are more.
i thought my boy was giving a salute in the thumbnail
He is so strong nobody can't even pronounced his name😂😂
It's Yu Ha Baha. And this episode was HYPE. I read Manga & this adaptation is God tier thus far
It’s “U-Ha Bach” and spelt Ywach Bach. The fight in the manga took like 5 chapters to complete so I’m glad they got it all in one episode
NOT A SPOILER but in the ANIME it has been said that the captain of squad 12 before kisuke was promoted above the gotei 13 that should give you an idea about the hype that is to come
That was in the manga. Kirio Hikifune has been a Royal Guard member since Turn Back the Pendulum
@@ember-evergarden nope it is in the anime if go to the arc that shows the past the talk about her not her name just that the captain of squad 12 got promoted
@@ember-evergarden it is in the manga too but they said it in the anime so it is not a spoiler they even said that she got promoted to the royal guard in the anime
15:10 yuha bahahaha💀🤣
This was an amazing episode they did this way better than I thought!! Yama will always be the goat! And I love how they did his bankai in animation style!! yhwach a dope villain I can’t lie 😂
Finally anime only viewer trying to understand the concept of this fight like if only other people can read with their eyes.. thank u
They animated it pretty well especially zanka no tachi south
Over 27 million degrees Fahrenheit is his bankia
Zanka no Tachi West
@14:21 that's a direct rip from the manga.. this scene was perfect
Sheesh!! I gotta check that out
@@Ssjutsu its chapter 510 last two panels
Any shinigami can get stronger in aizens position it’s literally a function of being a shinigami every shinigami can train in their inner world
bro i said over and over
if all anime were half as good as bleach animation and production people will be blown away .. this is at least 10 or 100 time better than the manga
in 2012 i was reading the trio at the same time (i think toriko too) and all of them were way better than bleach in this arc .. now seeing the animation well just hearing aizen's voice is better than all the other anime it's beyond amazing
the manga is definitly better thus far. but i can easily see the anime being better than the second half as that was super rushed and just a mess
This fight also explains why the other quincies couldn't steal Ichigo's Bankai, his tier is so high above them that only Juha can steal it
Also Zanka no Tachi is metal as fuck, it means Longsword of the Remnant Flame and the cardinal points mean:
-East: Daybreak Edge
-West: Dawn's Prison Garb
-South: Great Burial Formation of the Ten Trillion Burnt
-North: Heaven and Earth End in Ashes
well...this also proves to why he didn't use bankai against aizen/wonderweiss. imagine that redirect that wonderweiss did but the power of the bankai...but also karakura town would have been finished
Bro!!! The Animation ✨✨
Most of the fandom don’t know the definitive pronunciation to his name either lmao
I just call him you-watch.
Bro i think you’re the first reactor to actually figure out that azien still getting stronger despite being sealed
I mean he basically said it lol
nah this is why they came up with a way to take their Bankais. They'd have no chance if they couldn't
Aizen is indeed stronger now, due to him being fused with the Hōgyoku he's a transcendent being therefore by just chilling there and I guess meditating from now and then he has become absolutely busted.
As for the scaling question, Ywach (Juha Bach, phonetically) is simply the strongest guy in the series. The power levels kinda go nuts this arc.
later yes, currently no
