After 5 yrs I can now use this GPS thanks to your instructions which I just happen to trip over. Using my phone like everyone does not work for me. I seem to always get a call coming in as soon as I get to a fork in the road, thus making the wrong turn. Thanks to you I can now use my GPS. Retired
I have an older version and it is excellent.
The GUI is kind of goofy (and too many unused APPs), but it is reliable. I love the 3D topographical view while navigating, hills and bridges. That is the best feature of all.
I wish there as an ANDROID APK of this for my android car head unit. I'd pay for that.
I got the 9 inch model it came today and your video was very helpful because I could not see the writing in the used manual,and mine never came with a back stand

I just received mine. I didn't see the radar alert option . I liked your video, you speak too fast.... I'm from Brazil, but I could understand more or less.... IT HELPED ME A LOT. Thanks.
Go to UA-cam settings, click 50% playback speed to slow voice down.
It will not auto-update, you will have to manually update it. download the North America zip file. Unzip to a folder, plug in your Navi and open the explorer view, find the Navi folder on your navigation. Copy the whole fold to your pc / (laptop backup). Locate your Unzip folder of the new map. back to navigation.. select and remove/delete the old navigation folder on the Navi device. Locate the new map folder and copy it onto your Navigation. After the copy is completed. power off and unplug from pc. Start the Navi and click the navigation icon and Input the new location of the new maps like it was brand new. Hope this Helps.
This sounds somewhat complicated. Maybe the Garmin would have been a better choice with the automatic updates.
I just opened one that my wife gave me for Christmas, it's a nice unit .I'll be using it on our trip and I will up date my comments to how well it works . Thanks ( missing kickstand but probably would have use it anyway )

You got one thing wrong... You have to tap on the Navi app icon from the Windows screen so that you can be taken back to the navigation app. I played with it a lot and figured this out

This is (supposedly) a 13 minute review of a GPS unit. It takes 10 minutes for you to even get around to the main function, i.e. GPS navigation. Then, you show a few moments of a couple of pre-loaded demos, but no actual operation or real-time functioning. For some strange reason, when I see a title that says "Review" of a '7" GPS Navigation System,' I expect to see a review that tells me something about the actual functioning of the GPS Navigation system, beyond the fact that it powers up and has some built in demos. You devote the first 10 minutes to wandering around the menus looking at Windows CE functionality with no relation to GPS operation. So how, exactly, is this a review of the GPS navigation capability? I'd certainly be curious to know the quality of the maps and their level of detail, as well as what types of view are available. You show the "overhead" view, except for one still frame of a freeway exit near the end. Are there other view modes, for example "on the ground, road ahead" vs" "local map with user position indicated" and so on? Is the map detail reasonably complete, or is it limited to major arteries (which is what you show)? If you're reviewing a GPS navigation system, examining its functions as a GPS locator, a point-to-point navigator, and the view that the driver can expect to see while in motion would all seem to be useful things to mention and discuss in that review.
Why don't you make a 10 minute free video. The guy did an excellent job in this total review, but most was still on the GPS. Did you know you can fast forward these videos. I can't believe people will still complain.

It’s a review of THAT particular gps unit so he was showing us everything THAT gps unit can do. It’s not just a gps, clearly, so he wanted to show us everything.
Terrible device. Mine has to be completely cleared and reset before each trip or it simply adds each new destination to all your previous ones as a new chequered flag end point. You end up being directed hundreds of miles the wrong way in a round robin to all the destinations you ever entered. It is a disaster. Back to my out of date tom tom now!

Good job. They are short on instruction. The newer one the stylus is gone. I have trouble getting out of Windows the suspend does nothing and some times so does the power button. But, all in all, it really is not a bad device.
Having the same problem and have spent the last 10 hours trying to find a way back to the app screen from the Windows CE screen without success.
Where do you get maps from? Is it possible to use openstreet map? I would like to have chile and germany as maps :-P
Where can I get new maps?
The GPS goes via a Motorway when going to local destination. I don't know how to change it.
On the plus side there is a clothing icon which tells you about bra and cup sizes.
Why did it not show how to use the sat nav. GPS instead of all the apps. Will not set up correctly !!!

Just bought this same type but waterproof for a motorcycle. The owners Manuel sucks. Took 3 hours of playing with it to figure (somewhat)it out. It seems to run on a very old OS like pre-windows 7. And my pc will not run it's application

I just got this and was trying it out while going out and the place I was going was only a 45 minute ride and it showed me arriving hours later. I do like the large screen but the time is all wrong when u r looking at the map in general or actually using it to go to place. It doesn't tell u certain things like turn right at the light and things . U r up on something before something is said. Not sure about this one.

I got a mopect 9" gps system today, I like it but it needs ( address book ) I have a MAGELLAN 7" with 282 addresses and it makes my job easier. but this new Mopecct system takes too much time without address book.

I don't like that it does not display a compass indicator such as NE, W, etc. Would be nice if it displayed a compass reading in the bottom bar.
there is a setting for what is displayed - that is one of the options
The voice doesn't give enough warning for turns etc. Example, I get an audio queue to turn at only 30 metres from the intersection. So basically when I'm at the intersection it asks me to turn. Is there a way to increase the distance ?
I have just brought on of these on Amazon. However I live in Australia and it does not have Australian maps. How can I get Australian maps loaded on this? I’m old school and a big car GPS is all I need. This was Aus $143.00. How you can help. Or I will need to return it. Yes GPS systems are becoming a thing of the past.
DON’T waste your money on this piece of crap. If you live on planet Earth you will probably not find your location on the device. Getting other maps or updates is....a ball ache. But the worst thing is that after you figured out all that shit and you can actually start using the damn thing, it breaks. I was driving my truck and went over a pothole, a rather big one but nothing terrible...till I saw that the gps-screen had a crack in it. I couldn’t believe it but there it was. Warranty? 😳😂😂😂 I had bought two of them and had given one to my sister. Same thing happened to her a few weeks later, driving down the road, a bit too much vibration and the screen just breaks in front of your eyes.
Buy something decent and a bit more expensive...buy once cry once.

mine is 2nd hand, and has gone through some problems.. the icon to connect to the navigation doesn't work, is there a way you can share on how to reset it completely? the reset button doesn't do it.

@@M.S.A.S374 problem solved. I connected to my laptop with windows 10 and it found the path and I was able to get the navigation to work. I dont think there is an update on the file. If your in oregon you can't enter an address another state until you enter that state. That is how it's been working for me. That's what I get for buying this cheap product.

I have the GPS 84H-3 model. The settings file shows the Device as Delco_QX-BH751T. I am wondering if it is possible to do a firm ware update for the date issue that arose in April 2019.

This thing is advertised as having voice prompt capabilities. Anyone know how I would go about figuring that feature out? The instruction book is fairly useless. THANKS! Good unit, for the price! But no voice prompting, thus far. I don't think it has the feature....:-(

Hi do you know why on the navigation mode its telling me the time .the time left to destination then the arrival time only problem is that the actual arrival time is an hour later ..???? Ive tried everything to make it correspond with the time left but cannot get it ...the time is set correctly and the gmt is set to edinburgh dublin london .helpppppp

Beaucoup de promesses dans ce beau GPS mais aucune n'est tenu. Pas de mise à jour, pas de possibilités pour transférer des vidéos ou audio. Il a en effet windows CE mais aucune possibilité de connexion pour internet pour utiliser internet explorer ou simplement faire les mises à jour. Pas de manuel d'utilisation. Pas de wifi, de Bluetooth, de connexion USB, rien de rien. Je suis plutôt a l'aise avec la technologie mais là, il n'y a rien a faire. je me suis fait avoir. Si vous avez des infos, je suis preneur. Merci

I believe these are all generic so the map details on the Navruf should be the same maps as the unit he just reviewed. Try going to www.amznavmapupdate.com & see if Jamaica is listed in the truck maps
