Hey, Many thanks for this tutorial. Would you be so kind as to share a link to buy the external battery in the description of your video? Would be most helpfull, Isabelle
Howdy, The battery used in the tutorial is a Talent Cell (www.talentcell.com/lithium-ion-battery/12v/yb1208300-usb.html). There are newer Talent Cell batteries that might be more useful. Thanks for tuning in...
@@davidmmulcahy7860 i go to the website and when i try to BUY, it opens an amazon product link, but no one is available, so, there's any other option? And how much you pay for yours? Thanks!!!
Formatting a SD card does several things; probably most important is that when you format an SD card inside the Zoom F8n (or any recorder, or camera, for that matter) the proper file/folder hierarchy is set up. This means the card is less likely to experience any glitches when recording. When formatting, any previous data is wiped. I own a number of SD cards, and use them interchangeably in the Zoom and in a Canon DSLR. When I start a new project I make sure any files already on the card are backed on on hard drives, then format the SD card that goes into the Zoom and/or the DSLR. Thanks for watching!
Hey any chance you could help me with an issue? I'm recording a podcast, the mics sound fine but when I try to use an aux cord to record a phone call, the phone call audio comes in very quiet? Any idea what setting I might be missing? Im using a dongle, into an aux cord into a 1/4inch adapter to record. Thanks!
Hi Grant, Some info, pls: - what kind of phone are you using? - How is the aux cable connecting to the phone, and how is it coming in to the zoom? For example, male mini from the phone to XLR male into the Zoom? - is the Zoom input fed by the aux cable set to "mic" or "live"? Thanks for watching!
This Tutorial is professional and high-quality! Thanks
Thank you!

It's called TalentCell Rechargeable Battery
Give me please link to that external battery store
You carry a spare brick? I got the smaller talentcell x 2 and they are pretty long lasting and dependable so far
Good to know, thanks!
Why is dual channel mode not an option on mine
Thanks for useful info. Could you tell me which external batterie you use?

Do you have to reset it the first time you use it? Like I saw in the tutorial
Yes, that is a fine thing to do - always follow the manual!
