28:21 I 100% believe this to be true. Characters in video games (most of the time) aren't aware of the mechanics that we, the players, are privy to. I feel like when people ask questions like "how does Lance have _underlevelled_ Dragonites?" it's a case of people taking everything in the series at face value.
One thing that makes me doubt the "Alder is the Legendary Hero" theory is that Alder's first Volcarona is implied by BW's dialogue to have died in not that long ago and it's public knowledge that it happened. Alder has only recently taken to wandering Unova and leaving the Elite Four to run the League, and Ghetsis knows about it, using it as a barb against him during their confrontation in the Relic Castle, which doesn't cause any surprised reactions in Cheren and Hilda/Hilbert, implying that they already know it happened. I think it's more likely that the Legendary Hero is Alder's ancestor, in the same way that most of the prominent NPCs in the game are ancestors of current-day characters.
On the note of characters of Indian descent too, Iris has a very strong resemblance to Leon and Hop (and is a champion level dragon trainer too), and her champion dress feature a neckline style, length/fullness, and layering of thick fabrics with a sheer sash over the arms very similar to several styles of Indian dresses, and Indian style sandals, along with some motifs in her battle theme. The only thing I can't find a link to is her ridiculously big sleeves and how her skirt has a crinoline style silhouette without anything but fabric, like a mix of Indian and European fantasy Princess inspirations, complete with a dragon inspired tiara. She is dressed as the prettiest and most talented princess in all of Unova. Her casual wear also resembles a women's Khurta set modified to have a dance wrap skirt and her big sleeves again. I think of the sleeves like a character motif, about her being very talented very young, like a clothing version of "having big shoes to fill" She is kind of overall swimming in how big and extravagant her champion dress is 😂 In addition, the glaceon representative of the kimono girls, or more specifically performers, may actually be Brycen! Despite not being a girl, he performs traditional Japanese arts along with general modern theatre, and does wear a traditional kimono complete with the very long rectangular sleeves, but just over one side of his chest (can't find a reason for that, maybe he just wants to look ripped?) And trains pure ice types. Like Erika, he does not actually have the eeveelution in any teams, but just fits well.
Holy shit i thought layer 3 wasn't going to happen but im glad to be wrong! Thank you for your hard work man!! These icebergs are super addicting to watch
Glad to see I'm not the only one who thought the audio for this video sounds weird 😅 It's like you were talking to a mic but a different one was recording. And I'm shocked at the bit about the Regis being a reference to the atomic bombs and nuclear energy, I thought it was going to be bs but it makes A LOT of sense.
About the Imposter Oak card, it's most likely a reference to the manga! There is an Oak that pretty much looks like the one in the card, in reality it is Sabrina setting up a trap for Red after kidnapping the real Oak.
He was also actually in the pokemon gold beta, has a whole sprite and everything and was working with team rocket. So he was gonna be in the games but was scrapped
Evolution levels i've always saw as 'just enough care and power' you dont have anime moments to force it, there are specialists that can get the types they put all their time and care into get early evos, theres npcs with unevolved level 40's because they're just random people messing around adventuring with their pokemon friends. It's great world building actually.
Minor correction/clarification at 56:18! While Zinzolin is the one to give you the papers to decode the writings in the Abyssal Ruins, he states that the papers belonged to Ghetsis, making them Ghetsis' notes!
I disagree about being able to drink a water Pokemon's water. I feel like the water is geberated from inside the body, so naturally has bacteria and germs innately in it. That’s why they never drank from any of their Pokemon the handful of times they were about to drop from lack of water to drink.
I agree with the hard C argument, I always thought Arceus was derived from the word archaic. Though admittedly I constantly flipflop between the two in conversation lmao
The player was brought to the future as a human from another world, it can still be "us". Every human in the PMD world was brought there from another world, and it usually causes a distortion in reality since humans don't belong in PMD. The EOS future timeline player is a fluke, probably caused by the time stop of Dialga. There's an entry further down in the iceberg about humans in PMD, and I'll go a lot deeper into the PMD lore in that one.
I believe it was found through the leaks that originally Dragonite was going to evolve into that at lvl40. From them looking at that R&G beta stuff they found. Just putting this out there. Same thing for Gorochu as well. Raichu was going to evolve into Gorochu by just leveling.
After hearing the whole Gen 5 controversy, I officially think that fans opinions honestly doesn't matter all too much because they constantly keep changing and contradict with each other, I don't like it. Gen 5 was really good and hearing people hate it absolutely sucks, I am one of those people who thinks Gen 5 is my favorite long before btw and this is just me seeing some of the designs like Victini and Timburr. I don't even think modern Pokemon is bad but if we had some aspects that we had before like more 2D then I think that would make the games better.
16:10 my thought was always that AZ's weapon gave floette eternal life, and so floette used the (overflowing, bc it was recent, aka she couldnt /still/ curse people to immortality) energy within herself to curse AZ to the same fate due to what he did to save her
there is an obscure but official manga called Pokemon ReBURST where humans can fuse with pokemon. i've never read it but it does exist. it would be interesting if it were to ever be explored as a gameplay mechanic
24:43 I'll say kyurem to be an evil pokemon 27:41 for Giovanni, I'll be cool if he has gotten warp out of its reality 😅 1:00:36 i don't know about that one when i saw a photo my dad he looks exactly like me. Tho, to be honest, i always thought of it weird sense. My dad was born with a twin. Unfortunately, the mother and the twin die. In other words, in some mysterious way, could i have been Recarnated.
I just think pikachu are popular the way dog-people are about dogs. Like they don’t even always know proper care or proper behavior signs in dogs they’re just obsessive about doggies-that’s what I see the pikachu fans in universe as.
The reason I didn’t like black and white is that the original Pokémon are only available for postgame and the vast majority of the new Pokémon I didn’t care for. Black and white 2 fixed that and made so many improvements on the games. The first games deserved the criticism while the sequels deserve to be known as an excellent game
Yeah, ive been spending time recently tweaking my audio settings to get better sound, I also think my computer speakers could be weird which is why the audio sounds different to me while Im editing than it does to you the viewers, and me watching on my phone.

I freakin' love you! The moment you've talked about Yveltal being "evil" a shiny Yveltal (I was hunting in USUM) popped up! What a lucky video! ❤
Congrats on the Bacon Bird!

Hey! Tons of stuff here I actually never heard before. Usually I’ve heard them all. Loved this!
Absolutely phenomenal work my friend, I am stoked to watch this
Finally! Been waiting for past 3!
Looking forward to more

@@almond3066 I didn't know he was there too! Now I'm sad he didn't make the cut, it would have made for a good story 😭

Very good video, I’m surprised it was an hour long!

Bro came back with a heater for this one can’t wait to watch 🔥
Dude i love these Pokémon Icebergs You got a Sub
Nice we been waiting so long. Time to dive in.

I always assumed the pink pokemon were a hint too shiney pokemon
The player in explorers is not us as before they became a pokemon they where a human who was the partner of Grovyle.
The player was brought to the future as a human from another world, it can still be "us". @@Rivecha fair enough
I do agree with the other ones but I felt like Explorers was a special case I often forget these games directly connected tho lol

I just love how alder never figured out how to use the PC. Its just funny as fuck.

Arcoos guided me here. 🙏
I wonder if there was an idea in gen 2 to evolve a shellder with a slowpoke tail.
Good content maybe my phone is trash but the volume felt a little low
Yeah the volume varies for me across devices too
great video , your audio levels are realllllly low,
Yeah ill try to fix it for the next few uploads
>Jirachi on the Moon
You mean Deoxys, right?
Back in the RSE days there was a rumor that you could ride the Mossdeep rocket to space and catch Jirachi.
@@RivechaI never heard of Jirachi being the one in space either. It was always Deo no matter where I heard.
and i have a question doesn’t the colress in sun and moon is a different person just in case it feels like to me…
i have some trouble hearing the vid at highest volume. look into different microphones eventually
There’s a 2?!
