- Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, who has just taken over from Prince Harry's two royal patrons, is having an extremely busy week as Kensington Palace has just announced the Duchess will mark a major royal first when she undertakes a solo overseas trip later this month - She will visit Denmark on a working trip with The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

I live in the United States and have followed the Duchess of Cambridge for many years. I have to say that she is a hard worker, a beautiful soul, an amazing mother, and a wonderful wife to Prince William. I believe she will be a remarkable Queen Consort to Britain.

Catherine and Mary are both accomplished, learned, and warm yet dignified young women. Catherine was so very anxious on she and William's first visit to Denmark just after their marriage being new in her role! She was so nervous as C P Mary had many years to accomplish her royal role. Mary will be meeting an entirely different Duchess on this trip!! Catherine with her grace, intelligence, and warm beauty is the jewel in the BRF and knows and carries out her role with quiet confidence, a wonderful sense of humor, and her vast knowledge of children's early years. The Crown Princess and the Duchess are now on equal footing and I believe will enjoy each other immensely! Can't wait to see this engagement as I follow both royal ladies with admiration and respect!! You will shine Catherine! 💜💜

@@BlueInk912 This is my imagination but I've often wondered if after that first meeting in 2011 Catherine might have studied the lovely Mary as a role model. She could have learned much from Mary and her years of experience. They seem to share so many fascinating qualities. I wonder if they have stayed in touch. I'm sure this time together will be wonderful for them both! I have followed Mary and "Fred" since their courtship. Theirs is one of the most fascinating royal love stories of our time. They had shared their growing family with the public. William and Catherine also married for love! ❤❤❤

The late Diana, Princess of Wales, also studied early childhood education, and she worked as a pre-school teacher when she and Prince Charles were first courting. I believe Diana, William's mother, would have been so blessed by Duchess Catherine, and that they would have been good friends, as well as mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. I also think that Catherine would have been a great emotional stabilizer for the late Princess, as well as Cambridge's three children, Diana's grandchildren. Oh, how I miss the "Queen of the People's Hearts".
