Trust the front office guys. Go look back at the draft from a couple of years ago and see how many of those flashy guys are busts. No one knows how good any of these guys are gonna be. I personally like that we got 3 guys who all do different things well.A well rounded top pairing defenseman, A second line two way Center, and a middle six winger with some skill, grit, and speed, also kills penalties. Just be patient the Hawks are coming.
Fair enough. I was a team Demidov guy, but I do like Levshunov. He's growning on me a lot actually. Don't know much about the two other picks, but time will tell with the entire draft.
This kid is going to be a major part of this developing new core. Can't wait to see him play for the Hawks soon

You guys don’t need to constantly ask him about his dad, that’s probably so hard for him to talk about and uncomfortable. That’s stuff he should be able to talk about with close friends and family, not you media people. Figure it out
Glad someone pointed this out. This kind of thing never really gets easier to talk about. He's so young... Let the guy live a bit before asking him to reflect on these kind of events in his life.
Literally, plus he’s still learning english so he’s probably having trouble expressing himself and answering the question how he would like to… let him enjoy his moment

While I was pulling for Demidov Davidson hasn’t had a real miss yet. So I’m optimistic that this is going to work out. Welcome to Chicago Artyom!
We HAD to settle down the engine room. Need the d to push the pass to the forwards. We had NOTHING like him in the pipeline. Korch is very talented and young.
Damn, I really would’ve wanted Anton Silayev but Artyom is a great pic. We needed defenseman someone to protect Connor and someone to step up as a defenseman unlike Seth Jones, who doesn’t even know how to play hockey.
We’re asking Seth to be a player he isn’t. Plays excellent defense but is not really a PMD. Get him opposite a guy who can really sling the puck and take some offensive responsibility off him and he’ll be excellent. Still too expensive though
Seth is better player than this kid who ain’t even the best defender in the draft should’ve gotten Demidov and Eiserman

I get why this pick was made to improve defense, but Bedard needs help on offense.
All this pick does is instead of losing 5-1, now we lose 3-1.
wait until after july 1, to complain. there were no forwards available to chicago who could play with bedard this year.
Blackhawks what? 2nd Levshunov 18th Boisvert 27th Vanacker. I think totally blew this draft and should of got 2nd Demidov 18th Eiserman the two top offensive players in draft and at 27th pick EJ Emery the best defensive D-man in the draft

Davidson hasn’t had a miss yet so I have a feeling this will end up working out. while I wanted to see Demidov the fact he slid to 5th tells me someone behind the scenes saw something we fans can’t.

Maybe but after Montreal picked Demidov ESPN commentator Anson Carter said his buddy in Russia who is a scout texted him that Demidov is maybe best player in draft and can’t miss
Not saying these aren’t still good picks but they are not amazing.. levshunov i respect and am happy he is a hawk, but idk how to feel about this.. left a lot on the table

Demidov was the sexy pick but this guy is going to be a stud. Defense is set for 10 years. Focus on offense the next 2 drafts
