      Thanks, I actually enjoy positioning the models and getting the best shots almost more than making the piece.
      I don't know how one gets a job as a fashion photographer but I'm sure I'm about 100 light years away from thar.

    Great look, Matt! One could also wire wrap the top part, and also could do the bending of both at the same time if you want a more uniform look! Love the simplicity...options galore!

    I love aluminum wire. eBay has the best size, color, and price. I use 12 gauge. Take a piece of wire and clam down on it and hold a second or two it leaves a mark on it that looks like it's been hammered.

    And be careful, to not hammer or pinch color um hammering, the bail, actually, I think hammering the bail helps fits into universal ear post.

    I have a little rubber ended hammer and hard rubber block would that do the same thing

      For other metals it might be too soft but for aluminum it might work. You could try.

    Are you using aluminum wire especially made for jewelry, or wire from the hardware store? I made a bracelet and earrings with 18 gauge wire from Home Depot and they look gorgeous, but will they oxidize and look icky?

      I don't think aluminum oxidizes (tarnishes). Look at aluminum foil.

    Ok that is super cute...I was given aluminum welding wire that was the wrong type for the welder...will that work?
