Great list. Have you checked out Why Bother?? Hey, At Least You’re Not Me just moved into my top 5 of the year. Also this new PYPY record on Goner is incredible.
Thanks for some new sounds. Split System Vol. 2 from Australia would be my favorite punk album of 2024. I am looking forward to more posts! Good luck with Venice Casino!
Brilliant choices. Candy is amazing. Definitely love anything this is pushing boundaries, and slamming ideas together at the risk of failure, but ultimately broaching new ground. So glad you are committed to this channel. I’m still concerned for your health, and hope you are keeping things well in hand… sometimes you just have to ease on the breaks, before your blast out of the next hairpin turn. Love what you do brother.
Great list. Whats your thoughts on the new Spaced album? One of my favourites of the year for sure. Gouge Away and Touché Amoré also put out two absolute banger albums!
Getting music recommendations from your not-that-average punk rock legend makes this century worthy. But it still has bourgeois flavor if you just stop and look around. Much love, mate :)
My favorite hardcore albums of the year (that weren't already mentioned) were: The Hope Conspiracy - Tools of Oppression/Rule by Deception Regional Justice Center - Freedom, Sweet Freedom Counterparts - Heaven Let Them Die EP There were a lot of lighter more melodic hardcore albums I liked this year, too: Koyo - Would you miss it? Stand Still - Steps Ascending Touché Amoré - Spiral in a Straight Line One Step Closer - All You Embrace It was a really loaded year tbh. So much good music
I have a lot 2 catch up 2! Keep sending the man vinyls! Keep listening to him if U care Åbt the scene he was instrumental in co-creating! 1888 börja' me' en ynka liten flamma...
I've heard High Vis describes as Oi!-asis. That made me so happy. I'd add the new Full Of Hell and Envy LPs, but otherwise I think all the essentials are covered.
Hung out after the show with High Vis when they were in Omaha and they are by far the coolest guys I’ve ever met at a show. There were maybe 60 people and it was electric
I like Invertebrates as they remind me of older bands from their hometown, like Government warning, Direct control, and Wasted time. Thumbs for mentioning bootlickers and night fever. Listen to Mendeku diskak releases, like Lost Legion and Forced Humility (angry hcpunk with Foreseen members). Also Bloodstains LP from this year is great. I would recommend you to check out Koridor from Croatia, their release has an awesome ex-Yug vibe, and also this one just came out, Lifeless Dark with some well-known people from the Boston scene in the band. They play some hardcore punk metal mix like Sacrilege did in the 80s.
Did you hear Unsanitary Napkin - All Billionaires are Bastards? Def up your alley plus they cover Crass on the full length (they released an EP as well this year which is also killer)
Loads of good releases this year. My top pick probably has to go to Chat Pile's Cool World. The album makes you feel homeless, hopeless, filthy and totally run over by society.

Some gems in there, Kriegshog & S.H.I.T would be my favourites this year.
I’ve started making a playlist from your list good sir
@tomobrien5345 I have a Bangers of 2024 Playlist on here. You may enjoy it.
What a gem of a UA-cam channel, and on top of it the man running it is Lyxzén lol, this is fantastic
Wow how did I not know Dennis had this channel??!! Glad your recovery has gone well. Cheers Dennis.

YES! Both GEL and CANDY are on my list. The CANDY "Flipping" record is on there too, what a crazy good two-release year for them.

Great list!
Have you been listening to Straw Man Army - Earthworks or Gouge Away - Deep Sage or Help - Courage?
@@jonashallehn4773 I did listen to Gouge Away, which I liked, haven’t heard the others.
Berthold City all the way, best cats in the game right now.
Very good choices, Dennis. I agree with most of them. It’s cool to see other people appreciate POAC, that new album is so awesome 👏

Great list. Couple of bands I didnt knew. The new touché amoré is very good too.
thanks for the Invertebrates. The High Vis album is a 10/10 album. Love their previous albums too, was very curious what they would do on this one.

@@deak3726 such a fantastic band and they do seem like really nice dudes.
@ they signed my record as well :)
Thank you Dennis! Also check out Karmacopter from Germany ⚡️

Candy 🤘

@@Jimmypurkey I’ll check it out for sure.
Yeah, I too would be happier than a pig in shite if I was sent free music, as well. Just sayin.’
Bato: " Human Cancer "
you need to listen to CITRIC DUMMIES who opened for jack white
Right up there for me this year is Poison Ruin - Confrere
Check it out friends
@@paulrivers4741 yeah. Good album. Liked it but haven’t fallen in love with it yet.
Yes, great record indeed. I especially dig the artwork of that EP

@@ScreamingOak I LOVE that Chat Pile record. It will probably make an appearance on the next episode. Not really a hardcore album albeit pretty close.
