  • Rick Doblin, PhD, President and Founder of the 37-year-old Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), will briefly summarize the history of MDMA and its therapeutic use, as well as its mechanism of action. He will discuss the results of two MAPS-sponsored, philanthropy-funded Phase 3 clinical trials of MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD. As MAPS approaches potential FDA approval of MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD in 2024, he will explore the near-future possibilities of globalization and the vision of a world of net-zero trauma by 2070.
