    I found it in 2016. It’s not what you expect to see since it’s been over 100 years that people have been removing the gold. But there is a vault that still today holds its treasure.

      Same applies to many spots. I'd be interested in hearing more. People don't read books anymore but there are many lost treasures.

    Loving these videos. The attention to historical detail is engrossing. And the stories sound so genuine because Bill admits when something is "probable" or "likely". Was this a TV show on a local channel? Are there any plans to create more of these in the future? Thanks!

      This was a show made in Kelowna. Mike Robert's was the local weatherman beloved figure in the area. Bill Barlee was a teacher, then politician from Penticton.

    It doesn't matter if you find it because you can't mine it,it is a Provincial Park and mining is not legal!!
    Also I think it is near Misty Lake,you can see a quartz vein feed by a glacier,

      @bctrails7206 3 роки тому

      @Fred Rambo I think you are right! it's got to be a clue... and a good one at that.I believe it is a clue that hints towards a location, and if you know your gold, one that tell's of only a few possibilities.

    If Jackson was earnest in his desire for Hill to find his gold, Jackson would at least named the exact drainage he was in. Unless Jackson's mind was becoming feeble when he wrote the letter to Hill. Anyway, how could he expect Hill to find his gold with such meager clues as "sharp ridges," "box canyons about a mile & half long," "a tent shaped rock," or "schist and slate formations??" I love such stories so much that I once spent three weeks poking around the Superstition Mountains like a lot of other fools. After I returned home, it took the cactus splines another three weeks to fester their way back to the surface of my legs LOL...

    I think this is it. It a mile and half canyon. Completely surrounded by bare bedrock with a tent shape rock and a creek running through it. I put the coordinates on the tent shaped rock~that faces the creek~check it out hahaha. I bet someone already got the gold tho~but who knows... 49.547619, -122.478724~put the coordinates in on Google maps~

      I think the curse is "true" to the uninformed. Jackson came out of the area and was sick. Anyone who drank any water from that area would likely die from high concentrations of arsenic
      poisoning. If you did not know about it, you would be cursed.
