Just think how much money he has saved the country. No trial,saved police resources, didn't waste the courts time, no extra pressure on the prison system. Any body else he would be called a model citizen.

The police in New Zealand are trash when it comes to gang stuff.
They work together, the gangs have connections to the highest part of parliament.
They have family members who are ministers in the beehive.
The gang's are trash to and they try use past history of our Maori ancestors to excuse their present shxt behavior.
So National/Act is clamping down on Gangs, this is why. I'd support new laws at sentencing proven gang member/affiliate + 50% sentence, Crime committed with an unregistered gun or no gun license non homicide +10years, Homicide +20 years, so a gang member who commits a homicide with a gun would get 20+20 x 50% 60 years. A gang member has a gun at a robbery, 2 years for robbery 10 years for the gun plus 50% would get 18 years. this is how hard we need to go on unregistered guns and gang members. Also just being a gang member or affiliate is instant loss of gun license and reason not to be able to get one

From the outset I do not know what information, or evidence the police have at this stage, so I may be barking up the wrong tree. However, in my experience (I will leave it there) the case appears still wide open. From listening to a fuller report from this detective there are definitely inconsistencies in his reporting. Do we know for certain who murdered the first victim? The ALLEGED suspect to the murder is now dead. How, By whom, and why?
As I said if the police have corroborated evidence fine, but!
Just because you don't know doesn't mean the police don't. If they found him with a gun in his mouth and the back of his head missing. They don't want to jump to conclusions, but....

i had an old friend who was also had an extensive criminal history who comitted suicide and they treated his death as unexplained, then left it at that. So im assuming the killer also offd himself aswell.
Ime a known suicide is not unexplained that's more used when its a death with no obvious cause like a heart attack in a relatively young (ish) healthy (ish) person...
