Guys I have to think that Tabitha is an incredibly powerful witch for her age! Her mother didn't care to teach her hardly anything about using witchcraft and I will have to think that Endora and Maurice snuck around and taught her things here and there, but Tabitha literally learned how to do all those things by intuition and instinct alone!
What a wonderful character and the perfect child actress that portrayed her. And just think, the suits in New York were skeptical. It took Elizabeth Montgomery fought for Sam's baby. 🙂 Also, Liz didn't want to go through shoot arounds and then shoot the cuurent scenes and those she missed. She did that in season one and she said it was tough. Love this video.
The episodes with Tabitha were always fun, especially as she got older and her powers became stronger. I really enjoyed the Jack and the Beanstalk story when Tabitha shrank the terrible giant down to pee-wee size. He finally got a taste of his own medicine. Then when Samantha caught up with Tabitha and told her to turn the giant back to being big, Tabitha exclaimed very loudly and confidently "NO!!" That made the giant's wife jump and exclaim "Spunky little girl, isn't she?" Then Samantha says in a no nonsense tone "Young lady, you may be a little witch, but I am a big witch...", at which point Tabitha knew she was outmatched, and she restored everything to the way it was. The whole scene always makes me laugh, especially when Tabitha was being "spunky".
Tabatha is a wonderful and marvelous witch and smart girl too and she makes her childhood full of joy and fun because of her witchcraft she enjoys very much her childhood with her own witchcraft
Tabitha was a riot. When she put that little brat Michael in a cage, that was hilarious. They couldn't have found a better child actress to play Tabitha.
Two of my extra favorite episodes did not include Tabitha, but they we so much fun. The episode where Endora gets a lemon meringue pie in the face is hysterical, not because of the pie itself, but because Endora believes she is superior in every way to mortals. Yet she was a victim of one of the oldest mortal gags in the world. It served her right, though, because she got Serena to pretend to be Samantha. Along the same vein, Endora enlisted the help of one of Samantha's old beaus, who spiked Samantha's drink with his "love potion". But Endora mistakenly drank some of it and fell in love with a business client of Darrin's. Endora whisked him away to what seemed to me to be Las Vegas in order to get a quickie marriage. The town/city was never specified, but it was so much fun watching Samantha trying to delay the wedding. It became Endora's magic versus Samantha's magic, and Samantha was "outwitched", although she was quite resourceful. It was so much fun watching Endora get a taste of her own medicine. When she came out of the spell, Endora really needed a fainting couch, fanning herself with a magazine and lucky to have a daughter who was so persistent.
Too me, the best Tabitha scene is the banter between her and the giant. It was a long scene and Erin Murphy did a great job. I'm sure it took more than one take. That's a lot of diaglogue for a five or six year old to learn. Fun and funny. 😀
@@stormwatcher59 No, but that doesn't mean that she wasn't a handful. If she was even half as impulsive as Tabitha was as a child, she'd have been a challenge to raise even for Maurice and Endora!
@@anaquinn1440 I know. A "timber," for those who don't know, is a postage stamp. Samantha turned herself into one after an argument between Maurice and Arthur over who was going to take her to be presented at Court. That's how she ended up in Istanbul, and the beauty mark on her shoulder is where the Turkish postmasters canceled her!
I liked it best when Tabitha, used her powers around darrins mother , Mrs Stephens is the only character I despised , and darrin couldn’t yell at her, like he did with Samantha or her family .
Good catch! No, it isn't Erin. It's her twin sister Diane in a rare speaking role. I would think Aunt Clara would have been Sam's first choice for babysitter. Sure she was ditzy, but also thoughtful and caring. Then again, Tabitha might have taken advantage of her good-naturedness. Grandma on the other hand...don't even think about it!

The most touching scene is when Tabitha hugs her mother with feeling, because Erin loved Elizabeth.
Probably the most important message that came out of BEWITCHED, is Sam's explanation of what being a "sister" really means.
I was in my teenage years when this came out, I’m Now In My 60, Loving It 🥰 All Over Again
I love her little clap when she does magic, its so cute.
Tabitha was simply adorable and Erin grew up to be a terrific lady.
I totally agree.
Same thing happened with her kid bro Adam, who grew up and become a magnificent gentleman.
I am glad she is still alive.
She is not only beautiful but also kind, but wrinkles have appeared on her face!
She is a beautiful baby and powerful witch
I love it when Tabitha immitates the dolls nodding. She is so cute.

Erin Murphy is the excellent person to play Tabitha.

The 'Sisters at Heart' episode made me cry.

Samantha's daughter Tabitha also knows the magic trick. Her tricks are childish and wonderful. I just love her. She is great.

Ah yes, Tabitha at her best!
I love the episode where Tabitha puts the bratty boy in a cage, then turns him into a dog😂😂😂
That’s my favorite too!! :)
And the frog episode. Witchcraft certainly had its advantages. We all wished we could do that to bullies!!!
Bewitched, probably best TV series of all time. I would rank it even above Star Trek because it features cute kids
So is I Dream of Jeannie.
Tabitha gets in trouble good enough without “Tribbles”. Lol
I can't believe Samantha would tell her child she was ashamed of her. That little bully should have been sent to the moon.
Sure, with USAF Majors Tony Nelson and Roge Healey and Jeannie the genie of course!!!
The baby girl is so cute and so adorable
I like the trick where Erin Murphy grew up to be a beautiful woman.
Erin Murphy has six grown sons. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
Tabitha was a lot of fun on that show
There is something else about Tabitha, she doesn't like to be bullied. 😀
