Being subscribed to the channel since 4 years ago was the best thing happened to my PC hobby. One of the best places to get reviews on. Most of my hardware currently right now was decided by the review you guys made. From my Phanteks Enthoo Pro M, HyperX Cloud, Logitech G502 and more. If you guys aren't subscribe or don't follow HWC. I dont know what are you doing in your life. Keep making quality videos guys (Y)
Awesome studio tour Eber! I think it's inspired me to finally clean up my workstation setup and make it an awesome setup that I enjoy coming home to. Awesome!
Okay am a little late to the show but here is what I got, Great vlogging camera's ( Ones used by vloggers) - Canon G7X Mark ii (Ultra portable) - Canon 80D or 70D ( Popularised by Casey Neistat) - Canon 5D Mark iv ( Only seen like one person use it but w/e) - Sony RX100 Mark V (Ultra portable) - Sony A7S Mark ii (Great low light) - Sony a6000 That concludes probably 99% of what the rest of the comments are saying, love the videos and can't wait to watch more of your vlogs in the future. :D
The desk is from the Ikea Bekant series for those wondering. I have one that's more than 6 feet wide and I love it. It's adjustable height and it has a steel frame underneath the top as well so it's super strong.
Eber, if your getting a DAC and amp for your headphones check out the Schiit Magi 2 and the Schiit Modi 2. Extremely similar to the ODAC and Objective 2 amp but with a better build quality imo.
Love this style of vlog. Something very different than others. You and Dmitry have one of the best vlog content I have seen from a tech channel (...and this comes from someone who is not a big fan of vlogs) lol
Great setup Eber! Very nice to see the behind the scenes look :) p.s. Please pass by Dmitry that we're still waiting for that Panasonic G7 review he offered :D
Hey Eber, nice setup! I would recommend the Nfb 11 headphone amp/DAC by audio gn. It's $350 and is comparable to other Amps that cost 5 times as much as it. The unicorn of the amp/DAC world
I like your (HWC) work. The effort you put in does show. One thing I noticed, most of Eber's videos seem to be artificially brightened (I don't know many technical terms), but it seems as if there is a light veil/haze in the videos.
Great video, Eber! Bit of advice: When doing color/white balance grading in post, make sure your blacks are true black, not dark grey as they appear in many of the shots (including the first and last) in this video. You lose contrast when you bump up the black levels too high.
+HardwareCanucks: Dude you setup looks good and the stuff you use actually got me a lot more interested, but you really need to work on cable management and overall presentation of stuff, I would suggest keeping your main workstation untouched and utilizing the second table to make changes to the stuff you review. Like you said a testbench would be useful. Also to add to a few tips if you don't mind: Make sure to add links to all the items you show in your desk setup / tour (apart from your gear you use) because not everyone is interested just in the gear, avoid describing toomuch about the stuff you show, try using similar monitors (it gives a more cleaner look) and utilize more LED strips in that sick ass case you have there, it will bring more life to it. Othaways I would say you have good camera angles and shots and overall a relly nice video, good job!
I mean no offense Eber. I really really enjoy HWC videos but they're usually by Dmitry but man, this video was awesome. I'm no critic but you did something which felt really right.

great setup for the camera go with the sony a6000 get some other lens mic.... pretty much all the accesories and ur good to go
Pick the Canon camera. They go around for 300$ Canon Vixia HF R72. Many youtube vloggers use that because of the immense feature list and flip screen to see if you're in the screen.
Hi Eber, just a quick one. How do you care for your red Batmat? Have you replaced it before? I am currently using the black version of the pad and while I love the aluminum surface, there are visible wear and tear on the pad itself just after half a year of usage and I have been using it for almost a year now. FYI I'm using Mionix Castor on it. Also, one thing that changed with the scarred surface is how easily it gunk up with black spots. Usually after a day or two, or heck even during a long gaming session where in the past, I can get away with 1 week or more without cleaning it. And while the scarring doesn't affects performance, it actually improved when it's clean according to Mionix's SQAT, from 90% to 100%, it does get annoying having to clean it so damn often. I use wet tissue and microfiber cloth for cleaning. Ok, maybe it's not really a quick one but just want your input as someone using the same product firsthand. If other viewers have any info or tips, please let me know too! Thanks.
All I do is clean it with a wet cloth on a weekly basis.Works great for me so far :) I've noticed a few dents on these but that occurred after I dropped my LED light on it.
my only suggestion would be picking up a 6800K instead of a 7700K but of course I have no idea of what your budget is like. i know after effects likes clockspeed and all, but the 6800k seems like a solid editing chip.
PCI SSDs, 4930K and GTX 1080 is oldschool? Well, Eber. I am currently writing this comment on an Intel i386 machine with amazing 12MHz/core. The iGPU is lacking, so I will probably wait for Kaby-Lake or Zen too, but I'm not sure (I heard some rumors that Kaby-Lake does not give a big performance gain regarding the previous iteration).
get a schiit jotunheim or just a schiit modi 2U for dac only. the magni modi combo runs every headphone. NFB11 by audio GD is also recommended and despite being a chinese brand it's recommended over the schiit jotunheim. it's also a combo so less table space used with multiple input options
I couldn't catch what you said when talking about getting an amp for your dt-990, which amps are you talking about? I have a dt-880 250 ohm version myself and a little help with the amp would be nice.
Im thinking about upgrading my desktop soon. Right now my desktop is running an MSI GTX 970 4GD5 OC GPU, and I am thinking about upgrading to an MSI 1080. But I am wondering, should I get myself an MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Sea Hawk, or an MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming Z. Which is the best? Any tips for other upgrades? P.S, Got any tips for my computer to stop freezing? I can move the mouse but everything else freezes and I cant start any programs. I can click on the programs on the desktop, but they dont react. Thank you. I love this channel, so down to earth, professional editing and all round top blokes (besides that other annoying kid) Ow don't go kaby lake, AMD Zen will smash Intel on price for performance. Before the comments start I am not an AMD fan boy as I currently have 2 PCs with Intel chips and green team cards.
+Dave Dugdale they are Phanteks LED strips that connect directly to the case. If you have time, check out our review on the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe, in which we showcase how the LEDs work more in depth.
Hey for your Phanteks Enthoo evolv case, Is that the anthracite grey color ? I'm debating on getting the satin black or the anthracite gray color. If that is the anthracite grey model you have, would you see it is more on the darker side or lighter side. Thanks !
I demand ALL vlogs to be shot on C100s from now on lol. Great video!
Lmao "C100 is a great vlogging camera". I'd like to see casey neistat try it out.
You mean that Shill?
"My Pc is kinda oldschool" -> has a 1080...
A few moments later he said besides the 1080, at first he did not specify fully though :/
1080 is sooo a few months ago.
man i am way behind with the times then
I've got an AGP ATI Radeon HD 3850 512MB video card in my current desktop. I'm not sure Eber even knows what "old school" means.
Damn how do you survive?
Great Studio Eber!! :)
Thank you!
Your kind of video is foggy style isnt it?
Eber Antony have you tried ultrawide displays?? What are your thoughts? Btw great video!!!
Terrific quality, Eber. These comprise some of the best looking videos on UA-cam.
You say "actually" and "interesting" a lot. Fun video.
Jason Eng Yep!
Jason Eng Wow. You read my mind!
You're the man
Jason Eng why u ruined it For me
Actually, that observation is really interesting.
Great video, Eber with Hardware Canucks! I really enjoyed your vlog-style video. I hope we see more of it.
Slick video! Always nice to see into the workings about how you guys do what you do.
Great video man, keep doing like this. It´s difficult to find videos with that quality in youtube
Being subscribed to the channel since 4 years ago was the best thing happened to my PC hobby. One of the best places to get reviews on.

Great to see the behind the scenes of Eber`s set-up, and the little differences from Dmitry`s room etc. Keep up the great work guys.
*Actually* that vid is *interesting* :D
Awesome studio tour Eber! I think it's inspired me to finally clean up my workstation setup and make it an awesome setup that I enjoy coming home to. Awesome!
YOU KNOW I'M EBER AND I

IS EBER 2023 AND I AM THE
ONE
Eber's voice is therapeutic
eberrrrr really appreciate ur efforts into makin this vid! so guuud
Okay am a little late to the show but here is what I got,
Great vlogging camera's ( Ones used by vloggers)
- Canon G7X Mark ii (Ultra portable)
- Canon 80D or 70D ( Popularised by Casey Neistat)
- Canon 5D Mark iv ( Only seen like one person use it but w/e)
- Sony RX100 Mark V (Ultra portable)
- Sony A7S Mark ii (Great low light)
- Sony a6000
That concludes probably 99% of what the rest of the comments are saying,
love the videos and can't wait to watch more of your vlogs in the future. :D
Eber! You're the man. Thanks for the cool video
Yes, an Eber vlog! All I want from this channel is Dimitry and Eber content.
I am really starting to like Eber now! You're videos are all very good
pretty cool Eber!
The desk is from the Ikea Bekant series for those wondering. I have one that's more than 6 feet wide and I love it. It's adjustable height and it has a steel frame underneath the top as well so it's super strong.
Awesome video and setup man! 👍🏻 Great stuff!
I've always been amazed at the sound quality of your voice, Eber! Can you show us a quick tutorial of your sound setup??
great vlog! C100 for life!
Not for Vlogging tho...lol
I have an RX100 but I want to go a6500 or A7S2 before NAB 2017
I really like black Dmitry!
Nice setup!
Ayyee!!! Been waiting for this one!:D Great Work Eber!;)
Great setup man!
PremierReviewer ayy Carlos is here!
Hey Eber why don't use the Sony RX100 mark v or the alpha 65 I guess their new camera
Thinking about it actually. Little concerned about the overheating issue on the Mk V. Maybe A65...we'll see :)
Anything from the RX100 mk3 or 4 would be more than enough for youtube if you were looking to save a little money lol.
Eber Antony thank u very much for looking into my opinion .great video as always
Do more of these videos man, its amazing :)
Great content, Eber. As usual. ^^
Eber, if your getting a DAC and amp for your headphones check out the Schiit Magi 2 and the Schiit Modi 2. Extremely similar to the ODAC and Objective 2 amp but with a better build quality imo.
I'm Not Chase you can replace the modi with an smsl Sanskrit
I'm Not Chase even then nothing he has needs that power a dragonfly black is enough for him
Love this style of vlog. Something very different than others.
You and Dmitry have one of the best vlog content I have seen from a tech channel (...and this comes from someone who is not a big fan of vlogs) lol
Great setup Eber! Very nice to see the behind the scenes look :)
p.s. Please pass by Dmitry that we're still waiting for that Panasonic G7 review he offered :D
LOVE the ad at the start! Funny stuff, D!
Hey Eber, nice setup! I would recommend the Nfb 11 headphone amp/DAC by audio gn. It's $350 and is comparable to other Amps that cost 5 times as much as it. The unicorn of the amp/DAC world
Which leds do you use behind the monitors? Awesome Video!
this! i want to know this too.
Hopefully we'll get a response.
Well done Eber!
I love boxes too !
i just love that case, i own the non tempered glass one, its just super gorgeous.
"Eber" in German means "boar" in English 😂
In*
no, on german.
Eber = Boar
german
Eber, you're my idol❤️
Is "interesting" his favorite word ?
interesting...
yes actually
Interesting question huehuehuehuehue
Soooooooooooo cleannnnnnn!!!!
I like your (HWC) work. The effort you put in does show. One thing I noticed, most of Eber's videos seem to be artificially brightened (I don't know many technical terms), but it seems as if there is a light veil/haze in the videos.
Great video, Eber!

"I also have this headphone stand, plops on smartphone", brain goes boom
+HardwareCanucks: Dude you setup looks good and the stuff you use actually got me a lot more interested, but you really need to work on cable management and overall presentation of stuff, I would suggest keeping your main workstation untouched and utilizing the second table to make changes to the stuff you review. Othaways I would say you have good camera angles and shots and overall a relly nice video, good job!
I liked your setup Eber nice :)
like the simple setup Eber
Cool Eber!!!!
I mean no offense Eber. I really really enjoy HWC videos but they're usually by Dmitry but man, this video was awesome. I'm no critic but you did something which felt really right.
great setup
for the camera go with the sony a6000 get some other lens mic.... pretty much all the accesories and ur good to go
Eber's lack of cable management and neatness kills my OCD :P loved the video anyway. You do you eber
Pick the Canon camera. They go around for 300$ Canon Vixia HF R72. Many youtube vloggers use that because of the immense feature list and flip screen to see if you're in the screen.
Nice set up man! Keep it up!

I've noticed a few dents on these but that occurred after I dropped my LED light on it.
I see... Thanks for the reply. I might be changing out the glide feet for my Castor to see if it helps. They are pretty worn too.
That's a really small "headphone stand" small enough to put your phone on.
looking forward on a USB DAC review from you guys!
Great vlog, keep up the good work
Damn dude, I want your gear! That C100 is amazing.
my only suggestion would be picking up a 6800K instead of a 7700K but of course I have no idea of what your budget is like. i know after effects likes clockspeed and all, but the 6800k seems like a solid editing chip.
The Whitefox is an amazing keyboard
Could we know which wallpaper you are using? The one with the truck. It looks amazing!
Do you ever plan to upgrade your C100 to something that does 4K? (like a BM URSA mini, if your worried about size)
Eber Antony, nice setup! What's the impedance of your beyerdinamic's DT 990?
OH MY GOD, YOUR TASKBAR!
I found the video very interesting. I also found it interesting that you say interesting a lot in this interesting video.
Interesting
that is exactly what im doing with my new monitors 1 will be 4k for editing and im also getting a 1440p 144hz acer predator monitor, cant wait
Eber, is the Evolv a quieter case than the Luxe? Considering making the switch.
nice one Eber I like your dual monitor setup but that speaker on the back tho.... are the sound not bounce to the monitor ?
PCI SSDs, 4930K and GTX 1080 is oldschool?
Well, Eber. I am currently writing this comment on an Intel i386 machine with amazing 12MHz/core. The iGPU is lacking, so I will probably wait for Kaby-Lake or Zen too, but I'm not sure (I heard some rumors that Kaby-Lake does not give a big performance gain regarding the previous iteration).
you don't need to worry about having a good amp. My headphone amp is a Packard bell subwoofer from 1996
Where did you get those wallpapers? I am loving it
What ND Filter Do you use or what's the best ND Filter out at a reasonable price? Just bought a Sigma 18-35
awesome set up! If your gonna do vlogging maybe the fuji xt-2? I would suggest the a7s, but you need to see your face :
get a schiit jotunheim or just a schiit modi 2U for dac only. the magni modi combo runs every headphone. NFB11 by audio GD is also recommended and despite being a chinese brand it's recommended over the schiit jotunheim. it's also a combo so less table space used with multiple input options
Is gaming on the dell monitor pleasant? Or is it necessary to have 2 monitors, like, a separate monitor for gaming?
I hadn't checked computers in a log time, since the last few years, apparently they're all about flashy lights and looks :D
Try the Audient ID4. Should be enough to power the headphones, and should improve the converters and mike preamp at the same time.
I love McDonalds minion on the desk, my wife knows my obsession with minions, she got me the complete 4 minion set.
setup shows up at 4:45
I couldn't catch what you said when talking about getting an amp for your dt-990, which amps are you talking about? I have a dt-880 250 ohm version myself and a little help with the amp would be nice.
"this is a white desk" sorry im color blind i see only green
your work space is much cleaner than Dimitry
Im thinking about upgrading my desktop soon. Right now my desktop is running an MSI GTX 970 4GD5 OC GPU, and I am thinking about upgrading to an MSI 1080. a 1070 would be fine for 1080p 144hz dont have to get a 1080
Im considering buying a 4k screen though. Also want to run pretty much all games at ultra
then if thats the case 4k ultra 60 fps triple a titles then get a titan xp
What kind of smaller cameras are you considering?
I love this channel, so down to earth, professional editing and all round top blokes (besides that other annoying kid)
Ow don't go kaby lake, AMD Zen will smash Intel on price for performance. Before the comments start I am not an AMD fan boy as I currently have 2 PCs with Intel chips and green team cards.
What's the plugin for Premiere that he is using? At 8:20 where you can see that "spectrum" or histogram. Looks dope. Thanks
what monitor arms are you using. love the video
I love you vlog content, but maybe not the C100. Something with OIS or EIS?
What did you say those led lights are called pantechs?
+Dave Dugdale they are Phanteks LED strips that connect directly to the case. If you have time, check out our review on the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe, in which we showcase how the LEDs work more in depth.
HardwareCanucks thanks!
Since when do you own a C100? And is it the mark ii?
Hey for your Phanteks Enthoo evolv case, Is that the anthracite grey color ? I'm debating on getting the satin black or the anthracite gray color. If that is the anthracite grey model you have, would you see it is more on the darker side or lighter side. Thanks !
Anthracite grey looks amazing! That's what I have :)
One suggestion, cable management under the desk
I'm not the only one driving headphones off the interface lol. I drive a pair of AudioTechnica ATH-M40Xs from a Roland Duo Capture.
Nice setup
I heard good things about Sony RX100 Mk 3
Is there a build video for Eber's computer?
Meanwhile, Im rocking a 750Ti with Xeon e5520.. and he calls that old school.
NeoChromer I'm using a laptop i3, 4gb of ram.. Haha, I'm getting a 5960X, 32GB RAM, and a GTX Titan this Christmas
Your power bill will thank you.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ (2.4GHz) with an ATI Radeon HD 3850 512MB AGP edition video card. Don't talk to me about old school.
Skeletor Jopko I had a similar setup back in the days..but I was rockin a FX 55...socket 939 was the best
Joshua Keys Right? I love socket 939, still use it for playing Borderlands 2 and CS:GO even today.
What video editing software do each of you guys use?
