I’m always amazed when I watch your patterning how your targets don’t look like they’re at 50 yards compared to all the other videos out there!
Well I mean we pattern at 40 yards soooo…..
I run the rectifier .560 in my 20ga 301.
With tss 9's the patterns are unreal , and that .560 loves a load of longbeard xr 6's

Same gun but handload 23/4" 2oz load running. 665 sumtoy with good results.

Jake is right, that Mossberg is a short barreled hammer 🔨.
It’s just one legit gun! From patterning to trigger to handling it’s hard to beat as far as a 12 gauge
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA, I had a Mossberg 835 with a 20 inch barrel and shot OG Longbeard XR #6s , out of an Indian Creek .670. Never lost a turkey with it,although I never took a shot past 45 yards. A family friend bought it from me after he went 0-6 with his Remington Versamax. Since then, he has bagged 3 gobblers with the 835. People turn their noses down at budget friendly shotguns and should worry more about hitting the target instead of price.
@hk45c62 I agree! I killed many with my 835 and LBXR 5’s with the code black turkey .710 it was filthy
Man i really thought the .665 would hammer with a 2-1/4 oz payload.
Man i was actually expecting much better patterns, mainly from the 665.
I still think he is spot on and that .660 will yield that perfect pattern from his choke style in that 940
Less choke often shoots tighter patterns, you over choke every shot!

I’m turkey hunting with my Mossberg 940 Pro tactical shotgun. Has the exact length barrel as the 940 Pro turkey. Using a Patternmaster Code Black Turkey choke.
How’s the patternmaster with it? Haven’t got one yet to put on paper
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA very good / tight pattern at 40. I shot Windy Hill Precision 3” #9’s. Both Apex and Windy Hill Precision are pretty close by. Got the idea of using the Code Black Turkey from you guys. Enjoy your channel.
