Thank you for all the time and effort that you put into figuring these out, great persistency. I do a lot of diagnostic work, but am beginning to dive into this relm and I am learning a lot from what you present, keep it up and keep em coming. 👍
would you send me the body module cable that interface with the cas3 plus. thank you for the video. yes you are correct cas 3 plus PN 93 and up won't connect using that vvdi bim thing. don't waste your time using BIM TOOL. even if you managed to connect you will brick a or many modules in a real job so don't even risk it.
Whenever I search for this channel its a struggle to find with youtube algorithm even as a subscriber. How come it's not in the zero to 60 featured channels section?
I know that the video is 2 years old, but have you tried to do a CAS 3++ downgrade in order to learn a key or read ISN on bench without JBE for me it fails all the time. (even with godiag CAS 3) Xhorse does not don't answer me... well done, what you are doing is great =) kevin a French fan =)
@@testandtune6096 thank you for your answer I will build myself a complete test platform with JBE to be sure to reproduce the same networks as in a vehicle I think this will solve my problem (I work at BMW I will try to find the connectors to make that's clean =) have a good day)
Ok so it’s worth it now the tool what was it the software? and what settings are you using I think I’m going to get one to do cas3++ cas from x5m to do a ca key will it do it Obd
I have tried with direct connection to the pins and it doesn’t work. I have tried with the bench cable you have and it only works with the jbe module. I’m not sure why it’s not working. Maybe the actual bimtool obd cable is different then yours?
I got my cas cable from ali express, but i am pretty sure its the vvdi one. I have taken it apart so many times, it is just connecting the OBD can pins direct to can on the cas, as well as power and wake up. Are you running the latest version of BIMtool?
@@testandtune6096 yes I have the latest update. I tried it using a godiag break out box which should be the same thing as the cas cable but with direct connection. What I was saying is maybe the obd cable from my vvdi bimtool is probably different then yours.

You're talking about the Bricktool?
