I wasn't expecting this. And I mean that in the best way possible. It made me cry like a baby. Everything he said made me smile and think hard to myself. Whenever I feel sad, I want to watch this video again. Thank you so much Gackt and Yohio for making such a beautiful video.
I actually did what he suggested! I challenged myself and launched myself as an artist (I paint landscapes) and was ready to really go gung-ho with it when galleries and in-person events reopened here in my area.
FOR THOSE STRUGGLING LIKE MYSELF: -i'm an alcoholic and only work and sleep -i feel depressed often because of this -I made a notepad script on desktop to always show me the info from Gackt and also Yohio's other videos to always remind me of the things they say and also notes for myself My life has been improving a lot and it's difficult at first Please make notes of these things where you can see them. The info here seems so obvious but when you're reminded of it daily, it makes it easier to follow a healthy routine I thank you both Yohio and Gackt for helping me get my life on track on focus on my goals i've been putting to the side for so long. I've improved on the guitar ten-fold in the month I've been watching your youtube channel Yohio. Thank you for your videos and your music, you've been a huge inspiration for me to get off my ass and work. I'm lucky to have found your work while I'm still young
When I got the tweet at work earlier today where you announces that GACKT would be joining primarily positive it made the rest of my shift so much easier. It made my day better! Thank you for bringing good news when I needed it the most!
Well, in spanish we have this sentence: "Mejor reír que llorar", which literally means: "it is better laugh than cry" (when something bad happens), so I could summarize Gackt's message in that way. Thanks for the message! ^.^ PS: We also have another sentence: "Al mal tiempo, buena cara" ( the literal translation is: "To bad weather, good face"), which is used when, once again, something bad happens (it means that you should try to smile even when something bad happens, because you can't control everything)

I loved GACKTs positive message. It touched me alot. When i was 4 years old ( 28 years ago) i had a excident with a bus and lost one of my feet and need to wear a prothese. His songs and his passionate positive way really helped and inspired me alot to see life more positive and get stronger. Im so grateful to crossed path with him. 😊

There's no possible way for me to explain or show how much you mean to me. I'm from Finland, but my native language is Swedish. I have asperger's, so I struggle a lot with social interaction and understanding sarcasm and things like that. I've gotten bullied and a lot of other things that has led me to be afraid of people. I've gotten much better thanks to music and my friends, but I still struggle a lot. My dream is to become a voice actress in Japan. Thanks for making this happen, Yohio! It's not often we get to hear directly from someone in English who's worked with GACKT. In seeing the things you say, write, and do, I can really feel you've adopted the mindset GACKT encourages us all to follow. It's one thing to believe in his words, but to act upon them is the hard part. It took me many years to reach the point where I not only believed conceptually, but was able to actually feel it and act positively in challenging myself to become a better person. What he says is one-hundred percent true: everything you challenge yourself will become your asset. Life is ephemeral. It's better to live a life of "I can do it"s rather than "I can't"s.

I've been listening to GACKT since I was around 13 years old, just a few years after he left Malice Mizer. I have adored him since then, buying every CD I could, watching his plays and his movies, and when I lived in Japan I purchased as much merchandise as I could!! He was a HUGE source of inspiration in my earlier years, and carried me through a lot of unpleasant experiences. I "fell away" from the J-music scene in 2012 and while I still followed some of GACKT's career, I wasn't keeping up with it very much. I found your channel by the kindness of the UA-cam algorithm, and stumbled across this particular video while I was checking out your other music videos. I am SO HAPPY to see this collaboration with him, and to know that he is still happy and healthy. I'm now following your channel in hopes of seeing more of this type of inspirational content!!

This is so beautiful! When this whole thing started, I made sure to remind my loved ones and friends to stay positive no matter what. I know being kept away from others is hard and so many want things to go back to the way they were before. To be honest, some part of me is glad things turned out the way they have. Of course I would never take all the deaths of these times lightly and think nothing of them, but during these dark days, a lot of aspects that I never knew of myself came to light. I've learned that my positive thinking has helped plenty others who thought they were trapped inside. I've further learned of how far my patience and understanding of people can go and have used them to comfort and strengthen my friends and any who needed a kind word. I've always been a homebody, but when the dark clouds rolled in, I took them head on knowing time was going to make things right. The way people want their lives to go back to isn't going to happen overnight, whether it'll take months, or even years, so I make sure to remind myself to appreciate everything around me. From something as simple as a shower and eating, to still being able to cook my favorite meals, watch tv and read a book. Nothing is to be taken for granted. Heck, even listening to Gackt and Yohio is a blessing! Overall, I still have a lovely life and everything and everyone in it are such beautiful gifts. Thank you Gackt and Yohio. You too are a part of my life and I wish you happiness beyond measure. Never let anything take away your smiles! :)
