The Interceptor looks very good, Tony. I like the angle of the registration plate. Small detail but small details add up to a greater whole. Good handlebars. They look miles better. Nick
Some of the best looking Intercepter parts I’ve seen, and they don’t require you taking the hacksaw or the angle grinder to the bike, which to my thinking always makes the bike less easy to resell. (No to people seem to have the same idea of what a “custom” motorcycle should be😉.)
Great video. Thank you for introducing me to Sold Out Motors. Still weighing what will be my first bike and this has definitely pushed me closer to the interceptor. Great ideas. I’d keep the two dials, though.
Nice one Tony. Thank you. Yes, that exhaust would be top of the list for me. Massive weight savings and a nice, not over the top enhanced exhaust note.
Really nice looking parts. Especially like that exhaust. Great sound, but not obnoxious. Those risers are really nice too. Would love to see a video highlighting their short loop and seat.
Really good video Tony, and some nicely engineered products, but for me it's a shame to spoil the handsome simplicity of the interceptor, which I always thought was it's raison d'etre.
Great video Tony and a good looking bike. I have a Street Twin and always felt the Interceptor just looked that little bit too much "old fashioned". It is a very good looking bike when it is stock but not for me. This is a really sympathetic custom with parts that just clean up the look all round without being too garish... just making it a bit more "modern retro" looking. I will check out "Sold Out" as they seem to know their stuff :D Oh and I was Mark, the street twin owner that said "hi and thanks" at Motorcycle Live thought I should like and comment as I often enjoy content and don't engage.
Customisation is always a personal thing. Why worry about exhaust note, listen to the silly boy racers in their “boom boom” cars with 1.0 litre engines, with number plates you can’t decipher (if fitted) sitting low behind the wheel with backward baseball cap ! Now they’re REALLY annoying. Love the bike cheers Tony. 😎👍.
LOL, took me a minute to realise that when you kept saying "sold out" you didn't mean "no longer in stock"... sorry, was being distracted by celebrity bake-off. Great additions for sure.
Lovely sound and look. A bit Mcqueen Triumph Bonneville esq with the short seat. Top marks for braving the freezing weather! Ride safe and happy travels 👍
Nice bike! Well presented. I used to have the same tail from Sold Out and I received 4 comments from viewers that that is illegal - the number plate is way out. But personally, I think it's okay. Cops and cameras can still see it perfectly fine.
Individually the Sold out parts look excellent but somehow don’t work for me as a whole. I always mod my bikes to my individual taste but there’s always a performance gain in handling, power output, braking or comfort, don’t see any of those gains on this project bike.
Sorry, I just don't get it. If it handles just the same, rides just the same and sounds just the same as everything standard, why go to all that trouble and expense. Just my opinion
Yes I sort of agree, I thought the appeal of the interceptor was it's retro simplicity.. Why make it look like bitsa, albeit, a nicely kitted out bitsa.
Definitely sounds louder & with the headers be atleast 5hp more than stock. So not the same & leave a stock bike in the dust with 5-6hp more & the 12kg lighter & 8Nm more heavy stock bike choking on the dust.Does cost heaps though.
Exhaust is a big improvement from the original that l always thought was too big and ''sticky out''. Sounds great too, tone isn't the same as volume!....Not so sure about the 'fat tyre' though. For me it looks to bulky... I'm more of a 60s Cafe Race style myself or traditional looks..not the americanisation custom scene...
Nice video, but not for me I'm afraid, not knocking the additions, but the total cost of all those bits must be eye watering, bearing in mind the Interceptor is a budget machine, which is one of it's big advantages. Still, if you want something different......
Fair enough, although you could flip that around and say because its an inexpensive bike then you can spend money on personalising it and still spend less than some other 'stock' motorcycle?
Unnecessary weight, the difference in tyre weight is small and they are the stock wheels. The rack weighs half of what the stock grab handles do. The centre stand weighs about 4.5kg. It looks better without too
Personally I think they have spoilt it but to each their own. I suppose it fits those that like to show individuality. But for me the appeal of the original is the retro look and I this is going away from that. It would be a boring old world if we all liked the same
Lovely job. The customisation of the interceptor is one of its key selling points.
Love all the mods....apart from the clocks! One of the major plus points on the Interceptor ( for me, at least) is the clocks
Lovely modifications to the Interceptor. Be interested in the total cost. When I calculated the costs of the mods to mine it was…interesting!

Magnanimo trabajo , manteniendo la forma casi stock solo con pocas modificaciones en definitiva sera mi proxima moto
Nice concept, thanks for sharing. Sold Out Motors are doing great work… catching Baak with the range and quality of their parts.
Looks bloody fantastic, Tony. It’s got a real old style street bike look to it. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Excellent stuff, would be keen on the build video with detailed specs and learnings from the build. Cheers
Nice one Tony. Thank you. Yes, that exhaust would be top of the list for me. Massive weight savings and a nice, not over the top enhanced exhaust note.
Thanks Tony, I do love the interceptor but am really enjoying the classic 350. I must be old… I think I’d leave them completely stock standard.
Nothing wrong with that Steve, Stock rocks as well....
Really nice looking parts. Especially like that exhaust. Great sound, but not obnoxious. Those risers are really nice too. Would love to see a video highlighting their short loop and seat.
Some nice kit showcased, great work Tony.
With the single seat it would be good to ditch the rear foot pegs, cleaning up the rear end.
Thanks Dave, indeed I’ve ditched the rear pegs on my own interceptor.
Really good video Tony, and some nicely engineered products, but for me it's a shame to spoil the handsome simplicity of the interceptor, which I always thought was it's raison d'etre.
Sold Out Motorcycles have developed some nice accessories
nice looking bike tony
Nicely done mods ... and sounds lovely 👍 great viewage 💯
Will those wider front yolks provide the necessary clearance for a better front brake caliper?

Hi Mark, it was goof to meet you at MCL. Yep they do some good stuff, and this is a bit of a demo 'Mule' so its packed with their own parts

Silly question incoming! To fit a 150 rear and say a 120 front do you need new wheels?!
No you can fit those on the stock rims
@@mancavemoto Cheers Chap!
Lovely sound and look. A bit Mcqueen Triumph Bonneville esq with the short seat.
Top marks for braving the freezing weather!
Ride safe and happy travels 👍
How i buy this digital instrument cluster? i love it
Yuo should be able to order one through www.soldoutmotorcycles.com
Nice one Tony. Are these guys local? ie Essex. No address on their website.
They are Suffolk based
Sold out do some really nice stuff
Looks great except the missing clocks.
Nice bike! Well presented. I used to have the same tail from Sold Out and I received 4 comments from viewers that that is illegal - the number plate is way out. But personally, I think it's okay. Cops and cameras can still see it perfectly fine.
Yeah the old duffers get their knickers in a twist about that sort of stuff. You can adjust the angle, so not problem with a UK MOT.
Is there a problem getting part’s for these bikes? 🧐
Getting the right parts. There’s plenty of cheap Chinese poor quality stuff available though.
Individually the Sold out parts look excellent but somehow don’t work for me as a whole. I always mod my bikes to my individual taste but there’s always a performance gain in handling, power output, braking or comfort, don’t see any of those gains on this project bike.
This is more of a showcase ‘mule’ for their parts.

Tou forgott about the looks. It looks different

It’s a personal thing. If you don’t get it, it ain’t for you! Simple.
You lost me at out a 140 on the front. Will steer like a dog
Yep, I’m going to fit one on my bike. But I’ll be sticking with the 110/80 tyre j put on mine, that’s wide enough!
The front mud guard is so small that it is useless. A mud guard like the ones made in 1960s would keep your motor clean.
Nice video, but not for me I'm afraid, not knocking the additions, but the total cost of all those bits must be eye watering, bearing in mind the Interceptor is a budget machine, which is one of it's big advantages. Still, if you want something different......

i think that is good , and is not to loud ;;
Taken off the centre stand to save weight...yet added bigger wheels and tyres and a luggage rack? Interesting...
Unnecessary weight, the difference in tyre weight is small and they are the stock wheels. The rack weighs half of what the stock grab handles do. The centre stand weighs about 4.5kg. It looks better without too
I'm sure it's mother loves it but to be honest just another yuppie custom. Not for me thanks. Hey ho I'm sure some one loves it.
Personally I think they have spoilt it but to each their own. I suppose it fits those that like to show individuality. But for me the appeal of the original is the retro look and I this is going away from that. It would be a boring old world if we all liked the same
Take a Great looking Retro inexpensive Bike and now you have a expensive Bike thats not Retro ??
Its not for you, and thats OK.....
