Hello and welcome to Scale Stuff, in this weeks video I am going to be building the Mister Craft Hobby Kits 1:120 Scale Pirate Ship Black falcon
This kit is an old rebox of an old Smer kit from thi 1980's
In this video I show you how to build and paint this model kit and go over all of the bits that I had trouble with, So you know what to expect from this kit

Nice review. I just ordered the kit. I built this kit in the 1960’s when it was issued by Aurora. So, its lineage is closer to 60 years old.

It was a pity so much prep and sanding was needed but it does make such a difference to the final quality. I can’t imagine quality was high on their priority

Yeah was a lot of prep in this one, thing is I get the feeling I could have done more,I wanted to add sails not had lost motivation by the end, nice model though with some work,and good price to pay.But yeah old re sold toolings so agree with you on quality

My uncle was on this ship..he said the rudder wheel is on backwards.

Could well be tbh is an old model, trouble is I'm not very well versed in old ship layouts

Its a lousy kit even in the 60th when Aurora issued it in black plastic.

Yeah its not the greatest of kits but I think its not as bad as some I have seen, tho some models I just wont build
