After listening to your video about not “shaming women in the name of modesty”, I wanted to see what the fuss was about and I have to agree with the general sentiment that, especially in the context of teaching the Word, your attire in this video is objectively inappropriate…not simply because of the super short shorts you’re wearing, but because the angle of your camera emphasizes and accentuates the awkward position you are sitting in, which instantly draws attention to your body below the waist. It was clearly not your intention to appear “distracting”, but as a content creator, it’s important to be aware of how you present yourself to your target audience. Please know that this is not an attack, insult or a judgement, but just honest feedback in response to the video in which you yourself brought up the subject. I believe your brothers and sisters in Christ are honoring God first and foremost by appealing to you in love and offering a gentle admonition about the distraction it clearly created. A better response would have been humility and gratitude for them having the character, courage and caring enough to protect you from future instances where you may be unaware of the unintended consequences of your appearance.
