DEEP CLEAN YOUR BEAUTY BLENDER..IN THE MICROWAVE!

Anyone else stare at their beauty blender and think this needs a deep cleaning?? Me too! And I've tried it all..but it still doesn't seem to get that deep deep kinda clean, that a sponge really should. I usually end up tearing my delicate sponges because I'm literally scrubbing so hard! So, I tested out a hack and it may seem like a few steps but it takes no time at all and you get that satisfying deep clean!

This worked great! Thank you. I have never seen my Beauty Blender so clean in my life. Time to stop wasting money on all those overpriced sponge cleaners when I already have dish soap and olive oil at home. 😊

I use Dr. Bronner's bar soap. Makes them so easy to clean and gets them spotless. The bar soap is gentle but it's great to rub the sponge against.

Great idea. I often clean my sponges with olive oil and dish soap, but I didn't think to put in microwave to sanitize. I do that with a kitchen sponge, so definitely going to try your tip. I usually clean mine every morning before I use it and honestly, I just use a bar soap, like hotel bar soaps or Zest or even white Dove bar is the best and this way I can use a clean one every morning. And it's super fast to use a bar soap. Going to try the microwave next. Thanks for sharing!

Are you left with any residue from the olive oil? Could be bad if you use water based makeup products. 🤷‍♀️
