Let me guys know what you thought about this type of Tutorial! Unfortunately Im currently using a lower powered machine so I have restrictions as to what I can post and upload, it will also have to be just 1080P for now! haha ALSO!! If you want to really improve this animation then definitely adjust the spline curves for each animation! I only did it for one in this tutorial as my laptop just couldn't render it fast enough whilst screen recording for it to be that effective!
U could try to reach out to some pc people like Asus, msi, Acer or whatever and ask them for a sponsored video and in exchange they would send you a pc ment for editing. I wouldn't mind a sellout video if it helps you get a better pc :D
That's a very cool tutorial. I just wonder if Resolve has a function to convert text into shapes. Similar to how After Effects can do it. That would save a lot of the manual work.
This is a really cool project! I was trying to import the .settings file into my project but it doesn't seem to be working? I'm using Resolve 16. I imported the background image, but the "Squid Game" text is visible throughout the whole animation. The lines from off-screen arrive and the 3 areas darken, but the cool wormy-text part doesn't happen.
Windows 10 (and probably 11) If you downloaded it, double click to open it and then around the top left you see an option 'Install'. If you already have Resolve open while you were downloading the font, close Resolve and reopen.

How do you get the stroke to be bold, it is a bit thin when I trace over the text!
