I don’t recognized this road anymore.. we used to have an apartment at 12 East bay.. that was 1980 when i first arrived and reported for duty at D&S piers..

same, i don't recognize it. Lived 1st down near where the Jolly Roger used to be(i believe where he turned left onto E Ocean View), crazy place and times . That was circa 76. Then 77 to 79 further down about half way to where Chesapeake Blvd meets. Had a small apt on beach after my enlistment and worked at NAF Norfolk.

I grew up in "Hyde Park"/ Bayview. Has changed.

Wow, I've been away from the area now for 10 years. I've always heard they were trying to clean up Ocean View since it was like slums on sand. There used to be a ton of crime there as well. Looks pretty nice now. I'll bet Mr. Speedy in the red truck has a huge gas bill....hahahaha

I live and work in ocean view and on shore drive at the taco bell you caught every light going down there
