I love how many times Kara and Nate say “if you had’ve told 2018 Kara and Nate that we would be doing this….” They continue to surprise themselves and have wow experiences…even to the places they’ve already been. Love the gratitude ❤😊
Yeah, it's the real life story arc that keeps me coming back, watching them grow by challenging themselves, opening the world up not only for themselves but for all their viewers, learning as they go. It's beautiful.
@@RustbustersCA What are they selling out, exactly? A sell-out starts with a principle that gradually gets lost and eventually betrayed by the pursuit of money. Kara and Nate started out just having a good time traveling the world and sharing the experience with others, out to see how long they could keep on doing it. Along the way they discovered that they could make traveling pay for itself, through advertising and various other commercial ventures. Pursuing money has never compromised their goal of traveling and expanding other people's horizons along with their own.
@@DoloresJNurss the fact that they can not say a negative thing in ANY of their videos because they are being paid endorsers each and every time. Nate is such a cheap ass he'd rather just do a commercial that he doesn't have to pay for.
@@RustbustersCAdude if i want to see people saying negative stuff, i look on google reviews. They are doing content for the majority of people, they goal is not to feed pros and cons, they just show us cool stuff. It is strange that in 2024 some people are so slow that they believe the fact that you can just travel the world without sponsors, without doing a side business and without trying to secure a future for your family. If their videos will no longer be succesfull in 2026 are you going to send them money ?
I begrudgingly agree. However, I 100% support both Kara and Nate considering their mental health and making the positive decision to reduce their content ❤. I work in the restaurant industry and I typically work 60 plus hours a week. It’s beyond exhausting. While both Kara and Nate may seem to be always having fun travelling, I can only IMAGINE how much time it takes to having the camera in the right position at the right time, never mind having to edit the content for our free viewing pleasure. So it’s with much love that I accept them choosing to do a biweekly video ❤
They just need different tactics. They settled on ~30 min/clip but it doesn't have to be a clip per trip, or 4 😃 I can be two - simple. Also it doesn't have to be all trips. For example it would be good to find a local (OK US :-) partner to do a custom camper conversion inspired by this Unimog's design concept - height packing. Say 2 ft smaller wheel diam but 2ft taller bed area. A lot efficiencies will come to mind as soon as they are not limited to "garage build" and can have a custom made cabin. And would be good promo for the company that helps the project, and a future commercial product. Worth 4-8 clips in one block and can be done in parallel with trips. Plus road trips latter with the gear no one has.
Reddit is 100% convinced that Nate is practically abusing Kara with the expectation that they, I don't know, work? I think cutting it down to a video every two weeks is very wise, but Reddit seems convinced that he's holding her hostage or something. The hivemind is truly bizarre.
As the owner of a Unimog (living full-time in it) I was really excited about this episode and it did not disappoint! Can't wait for the next episode :)

Ali selflessly dedicating his day to helping couple strangers in need is a greater reflection of Omani hospitality. I just clicked on a whole bunch of videos to find one sponsored by AG1 so I could click the link to purchase. For so many reasons, I want to focus more on my health and well-being and this felt like a good place to start. Also, congrats to Nate on finishing the Leadville 100!!! He must be exhausted by now. Hoping to get back into running by the beginning of next year after a long year of healing from a bad ankle sprain. Not being able to participate in so many of the activities that make me happy has taken its toll on me and I am so ready to bounce back. It's so hard to live in Colorado and not enjoy one of the soul reasons I decided to move here: the mountains and making the long hikes to those stunning alpine lakes.
Oh my goodness. You just brought back a memory. We had a trailer that slept 8. But 2 had to be petit. Great Video!!! I’m sure I’m not going to be the only person to say this, but in case no one else has yet: Please DO NOT take off your seatbelt while in off-road mode. By remaining seat-belted in place a couple of things will be good: 1. If the vehicle should roll over, you will be far safer not flopping about in the cabin or falling out of the vehicle, which will both cause much more injury. 2. If the vehicle should lurch side to side abruptly, then you will stay in place and not injure yourself or the other person. Under no circumstances should you attempt to exit the vehicle in the event of an impending incident, as you will likely sustain more severe injuries than having stayed seat-belted to the vehicle. You both are amazing and I love your content. Stay safe! Cheers!!
water tank level in your van: Holly makes a fuel tank sender meant for gas tanks that would probably work for your water tank. Holley 19-250 Holley Easy Level™ Fuel Level Sender. Easy install and all you will need is some wiring and a gauge. The cabinets above the camp stove is really going to cook real bad.

I believe i joined your channel somewhere around the first Oman trip. A lot HAS changed, but your willingness to be childish in the best possible way (sometimes with hillarious results, others with borderline reckless decision making), is still there. The entertainment value though, with all that extra glamping, executive style high flying and pamperous hotel stays, balanced with down-right uncomfortable experiences... that has gone sky rocketing 🚀
This is becoming one of my new favorite channels. You guys are adorable and have all kinds of fun adventures all over the world. Keep up the good work, guys!
Not going to lie, a lot of your more recent videos just feel like advertising for products only rich people can afford… I highly miss your old travel videos of you walkin streets eating all the foods you come across in different countries and meeting people with different backgrounds and stories to tell. Them were your best videos, in my opinion…. Keep doin what you’re doing though, cause it’s overworking.
This was really cool. Looked amazing. I appreciate what you said about why you wanted to do countries so quickly in your early travels, but one thing I hope you've kept in mind is that when you spend that little time in a country you can't really know if you like it or not. For example I think you've only been to Paris and Strasbourg in France, and there's so much more to discover that's *not* in a city. There's also epic hiking in Israel that you didn't get to experience. So I hope you will still go back to the countries that you didn't like as much and try different experiences than the first time around.
I feel like this is just a standard video template at this point... I wish we were seeing them actually try van life in the Oman and not just watching another tour/ad.... I miss 2018 Kara and Nate

THANK YOU I BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR AGESSS 😩😩😩
Oh my goodness. You just brought back a memory. We had a trailer that slept 8. But 2 had to be petit. The upper bunk over the kitchen table was soooo close to the ceiling, my little sister and her friend had to get into / onto it in the position they wanted to sllep in for the night. There just was NOT enough space betwèen the bed and the celing for you to turn. Your shoulders would get stuck. Glad neither of y hem were claustropjobic.
Excited to watch!! Yall are the highlight of my weekend!
Awww enjoy 🫶🏼
Love you guys! ❤
Last week I was motivated to study the basics of traveling in Oman. Then this video shows up? Amazing!
It's always a fantastic day when Kara and Nate show us a new rig!
God sent his son Jesus to die for our sins on the cross. This was the ultimate expression of God's love for us. Then God raised Jesus from the dead on the third day. Please repent and turn to Jesus before it is too late. The end times written about in the Bible are already happening in the world. Jesus longs to be with you but time is almost up.
Don't you realize they're getting paid to do these infomercials?
@@tdsmithwho cares, it’s their job
@@tdsmith Some of these absolutely are paid ads; however, Kara does a fantastic job editing their experiences down to be outright enjoyable regardless.
I hope you guys are traveling safe outside these cities you visit..the World is a different place after covid😥 lets hope you two stay the same even though your enviroment is constantly changing..wishing you many moments of joy❤️🙏
east or west kara and nate are the best 😻
Cant believe ive been watching you almost 10 yrs ago, you being some rondom travellers making interesting trip video and now I feel as if ive known you for my entire life❤
"We technically have a table" Perfect Nate-ism 😁
I am nearly a lifetime stick shift driver and hubby is a life-timer at it (we have never owned an automatic car since we've been together) so we really enjoyed the demonstration on shifting between 8 gears.
Does anyone remember when Kara And Nate Rented a Wicked Camper-van??? 😂😂😂
Vividly lol
@@KaraandNate I miss those days.
Absolutely! and tried Tim-Tam's and couldnt figure out how to eat them lol
@@PrecisionGuessWorks YES!!!!! Hahahahaha I’m so glad I’m not the only one!!!! 🩷🩷🩷
Did they try a tim tam slam in the video? If so then you have solved a long time mystery for me! I’ve enjoyed Tim tam slams for years and for the life of me I couldn’t remember how I learned it existed! 😂😂
the unimog is so cozy and open!! yall driving the most dangerous roads is a K+N staple at this point and im so here for it LOL. that bioluminescence is utterly stunning; it really does look like a galaxy
Loved the playing on the beach magic!!
Great Video!!!
I’m sure I’m not going to be the only person to say this, but in case no one else has yet:
Please DO NOT take off your seatbelt while in off-road mode.
By remaining seat-belted in place a couple of things will be good:
Stay safe!
Cheers!!
Vids like these make me want van life again😂
Van life and biking are the best content.
I’m from Oman when I saw that you guys are in Oman I got sooo happy 🇴🇲
Yay so excited for this!
water tank level in your van: Holly makes a fuel tank sender meant for gas tanks that would probably work for your water tank.
Holley 19-250 Holley Easy Level™ Fuel Level Sender. Easy install and all you will need is some wiring and a gauge.
The cabinets above the camp stove is really going to cook real bad.
"It's always a good thing when you don't have to carry your pee bucket through your home" This clip of Nate moving it in the van will never not be funny! "OH, I need your help! Put the camera down, I need your help!! 🤣
I agree. That had to be the most realistic example of exactly what that type of a life that is..
You guys take the greatest trips! Most I'd like to do too, except camping in wilderness and eating off the land, riding bikes hundreds of miles, running like crazy for miles, .... I like the nice van camping and the glamorous hotel accommodations you do at times.
Nothing like waking up to a K & N video! 😊
☕️🥰🫶🏼
This was sooo cool to watch. I love watching y'all go places I don't think I ever will. The bioluminescence was amazing!. I loved to watch the roll of the wave!
MY BROTHER IN CHRIST please do not ever stick your hand behind the bead of a G I A N T tire when it’s inflating. I reflexively yelled at my tv when I saw it.
I did the same thing
Indeed LORD✝️🕊️🙏🏻 took care of him
Using fire to test a gas leak Nate from 2021 should of known better.
@@staceyjaymunro2k apparently not
I was like no way he did that. Then he did it 😂
What a fun video! That camper is a beast!
We get bioluminece in SoCal, but now we are in NorCal and there have been lights in the sky for the past 3 nights!
Thank you for taking us along!
Coolest AG1 commercial EVER!
They inspired me to start using AG1 and I love it. I add lemon juice to my cold water and it is so yummy.
The fact that I’ve been watching since 2018 Oman, it’s crazy! I love you guys so much and seeing you do this is absolutely wonderful to watch how far you guys have come. Would’ve loved to have spotted you guys in Dubai! ❤
The bioluminescence omg!!!
Kara I need to know where your outfit is from during the AG1 promo, love the color and style. Enjoy you both SO much, you still have the magic touch and approaching 4M subscribers -WOWZA
Love the pringles clip.
This was so cool! When you were going down the mountain I grabbed onto my counter so I wouldn’t slide forward. Better than any roller coaster! Love the goats, the rig and the beach with the bioluminescence.
Thank you!
Kara needs a sippy cup for those bumpy roads.
I've seen more of the world through your channel and videos than I've ever seen in my life THANK YOU
Ok maybe I’m dumb but why did Nate tell Kara to take the seatbelt off and know where the door handle is? In case they needed to jump ship?
Yep😬
Wow, I was so looking forward to this vlog. I lived in Oman for a couple of years in the 80s. So many memories.....and the goats! If we weren't wadi-bashing, we'd be out on a dhow or a boat. The best times!!!😊
I think a better title for this video to get more views could be “Overlanding the Middle East in $185,000 Van (full tour)”
so lovely ad was amazing!
"Moving on to *ow* the bathroom..."
😂😂😂
Hi Nat and Kara I just love you guys the sensor of venture. Did you have your look back in 50 years time and think about all these crazy places you went and I just absolutely love it. Thank you once again like I said I really love and appreciate you both , Cliff from Australia
Does anyone remember when Kara and Nate used to do actual travel videos
I love all their videos!
THANK YOU! I was genuinely wondering if I was the only one who has noticed this. Every video is a sales pitch now.
“Jesus take the wheeeeeeel!” 🤣🤣🤣
This is becoming one of my new favorite channels. You guys are adorable and have all kinds of fun adventures all over the world. Keep up the good work, guys!
Not going to lie, a lot of your more recent videos just feel like advertising for products only rich people can afford…
I highly miss your old travel videos of you walkin streets eating all the foods you come across in different countries and meeting people with different backgrounds and stories to tell.
Rachel Do you know Jesus is a messenger of God
I feel like this is just a standard video template at this point... I wish we were seeing them actually try van life in the Oman and not just watching another tour/ad.... I miss 2018 Kara and Nate
Yes, they’re becoming more ‘clickbaity’ where the thumbnails are starting to seem more focused on attracting clicks. I miss the 2018 Kara and Nate also 😢
Oh I love Oman so much!!! There are so many hidden treasures in every area. You MUST visit Salalah during Khareef season. And get a good guide and go over into Yemen. So beautiful, just amazing the people and scenery.
I’m here for the taking back Sunday references.
This is where you wanna be ;)
besides the crazy stuff that they did, I'm also like this type of content. and I am honestly happy to see kara got excited.
Love the videos but i cant related when they ride in a van that costs more than my house... i miss those days when they did Travel Hacks.
Awesome video as always Kara and Nate. This is going to be an epic adventure but Nate don’t stick your hand between the tire and the wheel when trying to pop the bead back on when I seen saw you put your hand there I immediately said no don’t touch it there and my right hand started hurting.
