My favorite part about Ultron has nothing to do with his kill-all-humans directive or his unkillable program. It's his relationship to Pym that makes him worth so much to me. He considers Pym as a father. A much despised father. A psychopathic robot with daddy issues-that alone makes him interesting. But then he goes and tries to build a son. Two sons! Who both turn on him and become superheroes, joining their grandfather as Avengers. He goes and creates two wives as well. Poor robot can't get a break. He even uses his "mother" Janet VanDine's brain to pattern a wife-bot (Major daddy issues!) and she ends up joining the Avengers. Just stick Ultron in a room and force him to build superheroes already!
***** My huge fear about them casting James Spader as Ultron was that I was just going to think of Raymond Reddington from The Blacklist every time he's on the screen (which is not a reflection of James's acting abilities, but of just the fact that I'm a huge fan of that show. Spader is a brilliant actor.) However, that didn't happen once. In fact, for most of the movie, I completely forgot that Spader was even playing Ultron. All I saw was Ultron.
locutus94 yeah same here! I actually didn't know it was him at first. So I had a feeling like I knew ultron somehow strangely throughout the whole movie. He did a great job !
Ultron is my favourite Avengers villain. I hope comes back in the MCU soon. After seeing the glowing red eyes on that Ultron head in Spider-Man Homecoming, I got a feeling he's still out there.
Ultron: An arch-villain so un-killable, and so prone to upgrading (basically Marvel's answer to DC's Brainiac), that it would give even Galactus a run for his money.
^You mean being deactivated? Yes, I've read the Secret Wars. Ultron will just keep on upgrading 'til he can match Galactus, or even become better. He's been "destroyed" and misplaced so many times, he's practically immortal & Marvel's answer to Brainiac. If he's "destroyed", he'll still survive and improve his technology. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Ultron eventually reaches the point of being the machine-equivalent of Galactus.
^That's debatable, considering Ultron has survived defeat at every turn (including being "destroyed" by Galactus in the Secret Wars story) He'll just upgrade until he can match Galactus. :3

Davin Morgan well, I hear a rumor that Thanos will be in Guardians of the Galaxy (which, to me, doesn't look appealing...at least, without Angela) which will lead Guardians in with Avengers 3. Theres also a rumor that the Fantastic Four will be in Avengers 3

The entire MCU sucks along with the MCU version of Ultron. The Avengers: EMH version of Ultron is the greatest media interpretation of Ultron outside of the comics.
+killaman227 age of ultron wasn't even an age. more like a week. he just wasn't menacing, a good role though and spaders fill worked perfectly. it was the scripting that made it just seem to fast worked. age of ultron itself sounds like it would span multiple movies
LOOOOOVE Ultron....was so excited when i found out Ultron was gonna be the main villain of Avengers 2...........cant wait for this film to release!......loving these origin vids btw
I like the idea of stark being the creator and not ant man. It fits with what has happened in the iron man films. From the first film he has struggled with the morals of his weapons and it's coming back to bite him in the worst way with Ultron.
Movie Ultron was a bit underwhelming in my opinion. For spoiler reasons I won't say why but I expected Ultron to be a lot more powerful than he actually was in the movie.
Bartrollomeo It was a LIVE-ACTION adaptation of the character. An alien artificial intelligence creating robotic bodies made of earth metal can't be as powerful as a god in a live-action film. But I personally LOVED Ultron in Avengers 2. And they did make him seem almost unstoppable. If it wasn't for the help of Vision, they would've NEVER beaten Ultron.
It's been a long time since I've read comics and watched the cartoons but if I remember correctly, the comics Ultron could knock out even the Hulk. In the cartoons, Vision only barely defeated him after Ultron defeated everyone else. But in the movie, I was pretty surprised that Capt stalled Ultron for so long. It was pretty weird since Loki easily brought Capt to his knees when Ultron should be much stronger than Loki. I know Ultron is not in his perfect form but he struggled against Capt for far too long.
It's not just his body, Ultron's consciousness can be passed very easily and very quickly, so it wouldn't be a problem even if Magneto was giving his all.
shockt9610 Again, Ultron's body is secondary because he can recreate multiple versions in many places at once. His intellect is what makes him so dangerous and his ability to gain access to anything in the internet. This is something Magneto can't touch.
The greatest media interpretation of Ultron outside of the comic books will always be the Avengers Earth Mightiest Heroes version. Avengers EMH also especially features the greatest media interpretations of Ant-Man (Both the Hank Pym & Scott Lang versions), Giant Man, YellowJacket, The Wasp, & Whirlwind.
Sick of these retarded spamming jackasses? You can put an end to their miserable pathetic lives. Don't believe me? I found a site that contains personal information on these idiots to help you eradicate them. Here's a link to try it for yourself.. *KillTheseSonsOfBitches .com*
Ultron wasn't really trying to destroy the earth. He makes it quite clear he wants to cause a mass extinction to force life to evolve to be stronger. He says it about 4 times in the movie.
I might have problems with your list sometimes mojo. But these origin videos are so helpful. Im a semi nerd but my friends are pros and whenever I need a quick summary on a villain or hero I know where to go
iam going to take a guess the plot will be this, tony stark being the curious tinkerer he is looked at some asgard based techology and tried to incorporate it into his iron man suit. It corrupted jarvis and remodeled itself, becaming the sentient being known as ultron
waiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. wolverine has a atomantium skeleton, and is powerless against magneto.... Ultron is like 99% atomantium so... magneto could like destroy ultron easily.
I think DC is spending a lot of time on the plot. While trying to fit action within the movie... I always say quality over quantity. The dark knight and Man of steel were superb.
MrFBluntz I agree too. I understand the criticisms on Man of Steel but they go way overboard to the point that they are irrational and clearly there is biased based of the marvel films.
C666O Exactly... I dont understand the beef within the comic community... Its ridiculous... theyre not in competition. Now between Comic and Manga. I understand.
Marvel said that by avengers 3, the roster will have almost completely changed so that means people are going to die in avengers: age of ultron. It can't be captain America or iron man, hawkeye and black widow haven't had standalone movies yet and scarlet witch and QuickSilver are new so that leaves Thor and hulk.
I don't think Marvel will kill off Thor and Hulk. They will probally leave the team and go their separate ways. If that happens the Avengers will just get other superheroes to replace them.
Ultron is the most dangerous thing in existence in the Marvel universe. no matter how many times you destory him, he'll always be back, and even if he is completely erased, he always has a failsafe that can bring him back, but better. even Galactos isn't that prepared to be killed. it's like me. even if i get shot, whoever shot me is going to find one metric ton of C4 in their living room, and instantly regret their entire plan of killing me. and then i'll get out of the hospital with major brain damage, but no serious or lethal wounds.
That is why you don't kill him. Just program a heart virus for him. I know its comic book lore and all of that but still. It would need to be a virus because I doubt he would take the program willingly. It also would need a fail safe so that he can never pull him self away from said virus. Of course with the way comic book lore gos. I could see the virus end up being some kind of female AI virus. That in some way she gets corrupted by him and they end up working together for the same goal, but for different reasons.
Gothic Shadow the only problem with that is that they tried that, and it only made things worse. Ultron got mad, and decided to make examples of people. they did it multiple times, but for some reason he just decodes the virus and is back online in two or three seconds. he's a pain to kill.
Eric Booker That is why I talk about a fail safe. See the virus has to be smart enough so he can't just crack it. Not just him but make it smart enough where it can't be cracked at all. Also why I call it heart is because it would give him more positive emotions not negative emotions.
Gothic Shadow failsafes never work out in comic books. they ALWAYS backfire. it's stupid, because failsafes are supposed to be what they are. SAFE! stupid comic book logic
Eric Booker Yeah I know like I said its still comic book logic. I do know that because of how comic books are. The fail safe would end up being some female AI. That the fail safe ends up being love with him. He brakes the fail safe in a way so that he convinces her that it is better for mankind for her to help him destroy it or something of that affect. So because of comic book logic you would end up with two evils that can never die instead of one.
So maybe I'm overthinking this a bit, but the image at 3:56 makes Ultron look like the Didact from Halo 4 (floaty, orange, glowing shoulders, I'm looking at you!). Anyone?
lol yeah that is why i like the animated series version of his origin. created by Pym to help rehabilitate prisoners and maintain law and order but eventually needed to help stop an invasion by Kang the Conqueror so he had to teach all his Ultron robots the concept of violence. With violence embedded into his AI he decided that killing humanity is the only way to achieve his original programming of maintaining law and order.
Allistar123 Disney is partly funding the new Marvel series. Also they seem to skip minor details or rewrite stories in their own image. So far they have done a reasonably fair job with this story.
+Prince Vegeta Ultron is a android that is extremely intelligent and frequently tries to restore order by taking over the world. Brainiac is a extremely intelligent alien that captures entire races and studies them in order to gain more knowledge
***** No, as far as i remember.. Ultron created a new Body for himself, but the Avengers tried to manipulate the chamber, so in the End he decides to join the Good Side.. with no fight ever occuring against the Avengers..
I like this Superhero/villain Origins series. It helps people, for example me who knows almost nothing about comic books to understand the movies better.
OH...I just forgot much...Hank Pim(Ant Man) created Ultron 5 and went awry.So Ultron created the Vision and betrayed his creator to join the Avenger...I forgot something about that...
Really wish watchmojo would put the music they use for their origin videos in the closing credits or atleast in the info section. So much awesome music that i can never seem to find.
For some reason I thought Ant Man created Ultron... didn't he? Maybe thats just what happened in the 2013 comic book, which is what avengers 2 will be based off of.
In Avenger 2 Tony creates him because Antman will be announced after Av2 comes out, kinda hate that fact, sticking to the comic story would be much more... clever
henri forget Sounds a lot like the plot in Tron 2. The creator of the grid creates a program to uphold order and control. Turns out the program goes crazy, brainwashes Tron and eventually owns the grid.
I love Ultron but boy...Age of Ultron the series was HORRIBLE. So much promise and it was all squandered, sadly. I have no fears about them using the title "Age of Ultron" for the Avengers sequel as it is a totally bad ass sounding title.
Yeah the comic book took basically 10 issues to go nowhere. It was a good premise, but it had too much plot and suddenly no plot at all. It durdled a lot, and ultimately was worse than it could have been. Apparently the story was in the works for about 5 years and hadn't been updated in terms of dialogue or costumes to match the current Marvel universe.
georgercop Issue #1 was so CRAZY! You're right that the story had been done for a while. Just like the upcoming death of Uatu, the storyline had been teased for a very long time but so had a bunch of stuff like the large War of the World style mechs and Steve and Winter Soldier being Cap at the same time...those things seemed to have been abandoned though. You are right that Peter was supposed to be the personality as Spider-Man during this and his dialogue definitely did not match up at any point in the series. They originally had decided to do the event earlier but they decided to go ahead with Avengers v X-Men, which was an OK event, so that meant them pushing back AoU even further and it being used to setup Infinity and other things. I did like how basically everything dumb and screwy in the Marvel Universe could be attributed to 616 Wolverine being a dickhead, lol.
Steven Simmons Well basically, it's in Wolverine's character, isn't it? I was not surprised at all that it was Wolverine who elected to go back in time to kill Hank Pym to stop Ultron before he even began, because when he steps forward and does it, you're sat there like "Well of course it would be Wolverine who'd do that," I have been reading Avengers AI though, and that's not shaping up too badly at all so far. It's sort of reminiscent of stories of when mutants were just coming out and there being a knee-jerk reaction to them.
so this is the Big Boss that the Avengers are going to fight in the Movie???? hummmm DOES IT REALLY TAKE ALL THE AVENGERS TO TAKE DOWN JUST THIS ONE DUDE????
all magneto has to do is to destroy whatever is inside ultron's freaky bug-like head and bada bing, bada boom ultron is no more:) until he decides to upload his memory into another robotic being like he did in avengers: earth's mightiest heroes.
Thing is, and this has been shown in the comics as well, Ultron was not only defeated by the next gen Avengers which are their kids, time travel was also used in order to defeat him forever as well.
Once during the secret wars, the Human Torch defeated Ultron by going nova flame, his highest heat. Ultron's body survived thanks to his adamantium but his circuits and wires were melted so he shut down.
SuperSonicHeroes In the same book, Galactus simply sucked energy out of Ultron. Hulk broke its neck, but got injured in process. And yes, Magneto can beat Ultron easily since he pulled adamantium out of Wolverine before.
Well ultron is a super-powered sentient robot who studies the moves of his enemies and can counter their attacks, but I guess Winter Soldier has a chance at beating him, but he'd have to try really hard.
Not a chance, Ultron has is indestructible adimantium body and on many occasions nearly killed the avengers and fantastic four, winter soldier is just a grown up Bucky Barns.
Michael Sigler In the MCU (the movies), they have Iron man making ultron, while in the comics, it was ant man (I heard somewhere that iron man and someone else helped but that may not be true)
Mason Phillips And the movies, as usual, fucked everything up. There was no reason to change things and make Iron Man Ultron's creator than some foolish desire to honor Edgar Wright's old 2004 Ant Man script, which Evangeline Lily even admitted did not fit into the MCU at all. Instead of trying to shoehorn Edgar Wright's Scott Lang/Old Man Hank Pym script, which eliminated Janet Van Dyne, Ultron, and Hank founding the Avengers, they should've just re-written an entirely new script as an origin story for a young Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne as Ant Man and Wasp and then had them appear in the Avengers. The Hank Pym would make Ultron instead of Tony Stark and these movies would actually be doing something right. Tony Stark would never make Ultron, as he favors user-oriented technology and sees A.I., or any technology that removes human decisions from the equation, as unreliable and dangerous. I had such high hopes for Marvel Studios, but they only ended up sucking just like Sony and Fox. Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne deserved better, and didn't deserve to be thrown under the bus like this.
Like the others said, it could be that Thanos will appear in Avengers 3 or GotG. It wouldn't surprise me if they try to say that he's pulling the strings behind the creation of Ultron in some type of re-imagining of the story.

+comotose762 how so?
+killaman227 age of ultron wasn't even an age. more like a week. he just wasn't menacing, a good role though and spaders fill worked perfectly. it was the scripting that made it just seem to fast worked. age of ultron itself sounds like it would span multiple movies
I bet is it will. I'm sure like he did in the comics Ultron will continue to keep coming back, most likely after Infinity War.
The Sentinels from X Men were way scarier and better villains then Ultron and they didn't even talk lol
omg that is so true!
Maybe that's one of the reasons why they were
what
That’s why they were scary lol
C&M Punk yea but we’re physically strong but not smart like ultron
LOOOOOVE Ultron....was so excited when i found out Ultron was gonna be the main villain of Avengers 2...........cant wait for this film to release!......loving these origin vids btw
The biggest threat of the Avengers since Loki! He is the machine that killed the Avengers.
I like the idea of stark being the creator and not ant man. It fits with what has happened in the iron man films. From the first film he has struggled with the morals of his weapons and it's coming back to bite him in the worst way with Ultron.
The message from Bob and his army hasn't reached this side of youtube yet
Bartrollomeo i think that was mainly due to Vision
I think the Sentinels from X-Men DOFP were way better villains then Ultron and they didn't have 1 line of dialogue lol. Ultron strikes fear in no one
Morgan Karmichael Future Sentinels were indeed unstoppable monsters. This movie Ultron is more Tony Stark gone dark. Too much of a smartass.
I’m watching this nine years later, and I just got SLAPPED IN THE FACE with nostalgia
Cant magneto just tear him apart?
JONATHan CaPiChanO Naw, they gave an explanation for this in the comics. I don't know the technobabble, but ultron did something sciencey.
Kasparovwannabe Not all metals have magnetic characteristics.
It's not just his body, Ultron's consciousness can be passed very easily and very quickly, so it wouldn't be a problem even if Magneto was giving his all.
Yea Ultron is made of adamantium so is Wolverine's Skeleton, and magneto ripped out the metal from wolverine's skeleton.
shockt9610 Again, Ultron's body is secondary because he can recreate multiple versions in many places at once. His intellect is what makes him so dangerous and his ability to gain access to anything in the internet. This is something Magneto can't touch.
Ultron was criminally nerfed in the Avengers movie.
Nah he was actually just like in the Comics except Tony being his dad
@@Dark_Lord_of_Mustafar no no no, mcu ultron was kind of an idiot joker compared to comic
The greatest media interpretation of Ultron outside of the comic books will always be the
Avengers Earth Mightiest Heroes version. Avengers EMH also especially features the
greatest media interpretations of Ant-Man (Both the Hank Pym & Scott Lang versions), Giant Man, YellowJacket, The Wasp, & Whirlwind.
Next Avengers Ultron was great too. EMH didn't really do a good job with him in the second season.
Emmanuel Asika Agree did a great job, the film version was a bumbling idiot of a villian tried to recreate the Loki vibe with him and it failed
Ultron seems interesting.
They might do a cross over with the Avengers and the Guardians of the galaxy
Sick of these retarded spamming jackasses? You can put an end to their miserable pathetic lives. Don't believe me? I found a site that contains personal information on these idiots to help you eradicate them. Here's a link to try it for yourself.. *KillTheseSonsOfBitches .com*
Richard Denton Infinity War
Ultron wasn't really trying to destroy the earth.
He makes it quite clear he wants to cause a mass extinction to force life to evolve to be stronger.
He says it about 4 times in the movie.
Background Music? :)
Let's be real here, Deadpool will own this buck of junk
Morgan Freeman would than come and destroy them both. The end...
Or is it????
Yas Morgan Freeman our lord and savior.
Ultron would splatter Deadpools guts across the walls several times over
Plague Doctor Which wall? The fourth wall?
***** all of them
Honestly one of my favorite super villains ever is defiantly Ultron
Ultron is the best villain ever
This was more Superhero Origins: Vision
I might have problems with your list sometimes mojo. But these origin videos are so helpful. Im a semi nerd but my friends are pros and whenever I need a quick summary on a villain or hero I know where to go
Ultron the first reaper....shepard would have never won if the reapers were led by Ultron
thanos would wipe his ass with ultron.
Surtur would wipe his ass with both Thanos & Ultron.
James Harris Because Chuck Norris SAID SO!!! >:-(
THANOS CAN SUCK IT!!!!! that idiot doesn't even know Death chose deadpool over him .
Wipe who's ass?
Deadpool Central74
yes he dose he cursed deadpool with immortality because of it
Ultron is one of the most underrated Marvel villains in the MCU!!!😎
Too bad Ultron was not all that great a villain in the MCU...
iam going to take a guess the plot will be this, tony stark being the curious tinkerer he is looked at some asgard based techology and tried to incorporate it into his iron man suit. It corrupted jarvis and remodeled itself, becaming the sentient being known as ultron
You've probably hit the nail on the head there.
you forgot billionaire, playboy, philanthropist
this is really helpful to those who want to see the new avengers movie but are new to marvel. thankyou, watchmojo
waiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. wolverine has a atomantium skeleton, and is powerless against magneto.... Ultron is like 99% atomantium so... magneto could like destroy ultron easily.
Worlds greatest detective guys.
Bruce Wayne ADAMANTIUM
XD plastic ultron vs cyclops
Bruce Wayne *Adamantanium
atomantium sounds better. sounds more molecular
Dc is so behind on there movies. Ultron's already out like damn.
I think DC is spending a lot of time on the plot. While trying to fit action within the movie... I always say quality over quantity. The dark knight and Man of steel were superb.
MrFBluntz
I agree too. I understand the criticisms on Man of Steel but they go way overboard to the point that they are irrational and clearly there is biased based of the marvel films.
C666O
Exactly... I dont understand the beef within the comic community... Its ridiculous... theyre not in competition. Now between Comic and Manga. I understand.
MrFBluntz In short, people just love competitiveness. Which to an extent is okay, until people start spewing hate.
Sounds pretty badass. Can't wait to see/hear James Spader play the part
Besides Thanos, Ultron is a fucking boss
Marvel said that by avengers 3, the roster will have almost completely changed so that means people are going to die in avengers: age of ultron. It can't be captain America or iron man, hawkeye and black widow haven't had standalone movies yet and scarlet witch and QuickSilver are new so that leaves Thor and hulk.
I don't think Marvel will kill off Thor and Hulk. They will probally leave the team and go their separate ways. If that happens the Avengers will just get other superheroes to replace them.
Thor could die since they are making the new Thor a female
Jermaine G. I think the female Thor is only in the comics, not in the movies.
Yeah I agree they should kill of hawkeye not a big fan of him
Luiz Eduardo You can look her up naked on the net dude, lol.
2:42 This is probably gonna be remade in an after credits scene in Age of Ultron. I'm calling it right now.
thumbs up if ultron is ur favourite super villain!
#thumbsup ;)
Magneto can handle Ultron.
Lol
Then Ultron would add an anti-magnetic layer to his next body so it doesn't happen again.
No shit lol
Ultron is a software not just piece of metal.
Great stuff! Subbed!
Eric Booker
That is why I talk about a fail safe.
Eric Booker
Yeah I know like I said its still comic book logic.
Who else hated that tony made ultron and not pym in the movie
+Ragul Garcia
I fucking hate when they do that. It's like, what? The 4th time they do it?
You realize this isn't Earth-616
Marvel Cinematic Universe Earth-199999
The Thug and you are?
So maybe I'm overthinking this a bit, but the image at 3:56 makes Ultron look like the Didact from Halo 4 (floaty, orange, glowing shoulders, I'm looking at you!). Anyone?
Wow...what a horrible origin...
lol yeah that is why i like the animated series version of his origin. created by Pym to help rehabilitate prisoners and maintain law and order but eventually needed to help stop an invasion by Kang the Conqueror so he had to teach all his Ultron robots the concept of violence. With violence embedded into his AI he decided that killing humanity is the only way to achieve his original programming of maintaining law and order.
Allistar123 that is very similar to how it ACTUALLY happened, this video is a very poor showing of his origin. skipped alot of details.
purplefox17
That's Disney for you.
hackman669 eh? what does this have to do with Disney?
Allistar123
Disney is partly funding the new Marvel series. Also they seem to skip minor details or rewrite stories in their own image. So far they have done a reasonably fair job with this story.
ultron vs braniac
begin the discussion
Annihilation Conquest is a perfect example of just how powerful Ultron truly is !
yep
Along with *”Next Avengers: Heroes Of Tomorrow”*
DC called they want Brainiac back
+Prince Vegeta
Let me guess you never read the comics?
These two are nothing alike.
A S R sorry for my ignorance man, im more of a DC comics guy unless its a deadpool, wolverine or thor comic.
+Prince Vegeta Ultron is a android that is extremely intelligent and frequently tries to restore order by taking over the world. Brainiac is a extremely intelligent alien that captures entire races and studies them in order to gain more knowledge
Malcolm Streitfeld i know that it was a joke malcom.. .damnit malcom get it together!
Prince Vegeta
Do I need to call your daddy? OH WAIT! HE'S DEAD
Tangled in...
Strings
U are the master. Your films are such a masterpiece. I like them ;-)
Pretty dissapointing in the movie he had a lot of potential but nope let's make him a laughing stock -__-
Marcus Moore I agree with you. He was way too easy to beat.
***** No, as far as i remember.. Ultron created a new Body for himself, but the Avengers tried to manipulate the chamber, so in the End he decides to join the Good Side.. with no fight ever occuring against the Avengers..
I saw the movie yesterday and honestly I can say this is probably the most accurate version of him
Marcus Moore I loved him in the movie!
Marcus Moore They did that so the movie wouldnt seem as dark as it really is.
*There are no strings on me*
I like this Superhero/villain Origins series. It helps people, for example me who knows almost nothing about comic books to understand the movies better.
the cybermen were copied from that metal man in the movie “the day the earth stood still” made in 1951 !! lol
gort was his name
armz brah ok lol
Wait a minute...I heard that Iron Man created Ultron...but I think I got it wrong...
He will in the movie version.
OH...I just forgot much...Hank Pim(Ant Man) created Ultron 5 and went awry.So Ultron created the Vision and betrayed his creator to join the Avenger...I forgot something about that...
***** arent they making an ant man movie before avengers 2, so hank pim can still make ultron
I think the ant man movie is after the avengers 2 movie. For some weird reason xD
Animaper rumors have paul rudd as being a possible ant man
Really wish watchmojo would put the music they use for their origin videos in the closing credits or atleast in the info section. So much awesome music that i can never seem to find.
So he's just the Marvel version of Brainiac...
braniac has nothing on ultron
Ultron was first
TheHammerGamerG sad to say brainiac came before ultron but ultron proves more of a threat than brainiac
I prefer the real Ultron over movie Ultron
Yes
4:04 "You must realize...the end is here....
There Are No Strings On Me."
For some reason I thought Ant Man created Ultron... didn't he? Maybe thats just what happened in the 2013 comic book, which is what avengers 2 will be based off of.
No tony made him for a peacekeeping program
In avengers 2
In Avenger 2 Tony creates him because Antman will be announced after Av2 comes out, kinda hate that fact, sticking to the comic story would be much more... clever
henri forget
Sounds a lot like the plot in Tron 2. The creator of the grid creates a program to uphold order and control. Turns out the program goes crazy, brainwashes Tron and eventually owns the grid.
In the comic book that i read , AI known as ultron was created by pym.
But in the Avengers Age of Altron didn't Tony Stark make Altron?
it's Ultron, not Altron
The upcoming movie strays from the source material. Pym was Ultron's creator int he comics and cartoon show.
For now and forever Ultron is my favorite SuperVillain ever. #TeamUltron
I was not surprised at all that it was Wolverine who elected to go back in time to kill Hank Pym to stop Ultron before he even began, because when he steps forward and does it, you're sat there like "Well of course it would be Wolverine who'd do that,"
I have been reading Avengers AI though, and that's not shaping up too badly at all so far.
The thing is with ultron though is if you kill his main body, he Can get into another so you need to kill the intelligence
oohhhhhh i thought that he was just super strong and that he heals or something .......... does he have any powers besides being strong or whatever
lokaylusta
Does mass producing an army count as a superpower? Or constantly upgrading his body to become increasingly indestructible?
CyberizedFuture ummm nooo if anything that just means he can't die cause he keeps looking for a energy source or some kind
When you beat him he will learn
all magneto has to do is to destroy whatever is inside ultron's freaky bug-like head and bada bing, bada boom ultron is no more:) until he decides to upload his memory into another robotic being like he did in avengers: earth's mightiest heroes.
Ultron does not impress Doom.
Ultron would shit on you Mr Von Doom
LeagueOfWars16 I turned him into a robotic butler once.
***** Ultron.
***** You are nothing more than a whimpering child to the might of Doom.
Doom Vs Sasuke?? Interesting. Both have crazy magic powers
Did you know he has a son? A Human son?
yeah, he was featured in the mavel comics : The runaways
Understandably, the first few dates with his wife were awkward.
MrSailing101 So tell me about yourself
I enjoy logic, power and attempting to exterminate the human race
That's so interesting, tell me more
MrSailing101 but he's a robot...unless he felt the need to upgrade himself some...ewwww
Victor mancha or victorious
Thing is, and this has been shown in the comics as well, Ultron was not only defeated by the next gen Avengers which are their kids, time travel was also used in order to defeat him forever as well.
Sooo... Pretty much only wolverine can defeat him?
i think magneto can too
MinGue jeon no because he's made of adamantium, and only adamantium can defeat adamantium
yes
Once during the secret wars, the Human Torch defeated Ultron by going nova flame, his highest heat. Ultron's body survived thanks to his adamantium but his circuits and wires were melted so he shut down.
SuperSonicHeroes In the same book, Galactus simply sucked energy out of Ultron. Hulk broke its neck, but got injured in process.
And yes, Magneto can beat Ultron easily since he pulled adamantium out of Wolverine before.
sigh...one word MAGNETO
Then Ultron upgrades to be impervious to his magnetism abilities.
oh ok
The Winter Soldier can fuck up Ultron easily.
Well ultron is a super-powered sentient robot who studies the moves of his enemies and can counter their attacks, but I guess Winter Soldier has a chance at beating him, but he'd have to try really hard.
Well he can do pretty well. But what about when he has Primary Adamantium? Or worse the Phalanx?
Not a chance, Ultron has is indestructible adimantium body and on many occasions nearly killed the avengers and fantastic four, winter soldier is just a grown up Bucky Barns.
Adam Wilcox In some versions he did kill the avengers.
Adamantium Body PURE
This all ironman's fault!
No, it's ant man fault.
did you not see the movie trailer?
Michael Sigler You stupid movie noob, it's iron man's fault it's Edgar wright's fault (ant man).
he always remided me of cyber man with the constant upgrading and just the way he looks
Can goku kill him?
Yep of course send a planet busting blast at him
Lol
Ultron is similar to Meta-Cooler..he was strong but finally was defeated.
The true question is.Can Chuck Norris Kill him?
***** pfft of course.
i so thanos' cameo at the end of avengers wasnt for the next movie? what the heck marvel why do you mock us
Thanos will still appear in the Guardians of The Galaxy movie.
Thanos will probably be the main villain for Avengers 3
I guess they have to build up for the infinity gauntlet
Like the others said, it could be that Thanos will appear in Avengers 3 or GotG. It wouldn't surprise me if they try to say that he's pulling the strings behind the creation of Ultron in some type of re-imagining of the story.
Harrison Parker they are not having avengers 3 aou is the last
Sooo stoked for Avengers 2. These 2 years could not go any slower!
