I love the fact he cleans and puts disinfectant down the pipes Has to be the most professional train blocking video I’ve watched so far and I’ve watched a lot great job keep up the videos love ❤️ them
Why is this so satisfying! On a seperate note, I'd love to see what it looks like in the main sewer (where all these pipes lead to in the street, I assume)
Nice work with the spider. But what I don't get is just flushing the paint residue blocking the drain through the pipes instead of taking it out and getting rid of it the proper way. The resident of this dwelling should be fined for disposing of paint through the sewer. Or is that OK in the UK?
I'm so happy you saved the little spider ❤❤ This was interesting. I would never have considered putting paint in to the drains and polluting the system but this was another really silly, expensive reason not to do it if you don't want the drains backing up! Thanks 🙂
Great video! That was a crazy clogged drain! No wipes, roots, or corn for ratty! One of these days I will record and send you guys my bird singing along with Andy's whistling. I would like just to say that I assume all the gents have family, I just make it a point to give compliments when I like something. It brightens everyone's day. 😊 💖 from Canada!
Just when I thought there couldn't be anything else to come from that pipe, another blast comes through and my mouth hangs open a moment, then more and I feel my eyebrows furrow, then another blast and I feel my eyeballs bulge... Holy crap (no pun intended), that was crazy 😧😳
Just goes to prove that if there's one thing you can bet your house on, it's the stupidity of people. Firstly, whovever built that join 90° join to the main, and secondly, whoever pours full tins of paint and wipes down drains.
Also washing grout/cement off tools into drains also. Don't do this, wash them in a bucket then dump it in the garden. I learned this the hard way after redoing my bathroom tile.
I stuck 5 litres of emulsion down the drains while doing a house clearance. The worry of it meant that i went back the next night to stick another few buckets of water down. Was OK, but not that good for the environment. Was a nice pale blue if you're interested .
But what if you want to paint your pipe lining? Surely it's easiest to just flush some paint? Also, I kinda feel like this is not a very good sewer construction. This looks like the equivalent of putting a Tee-junction where you should really put a Wye... Oh nevermind, seems like you mentioned this by the end of the video.
mm paint down the drains :) I was getting water ingress under the house when the toilet was flushed. The pipes wouldn't rod for some reason... When I started breaking up the concrete to investigate the issue the whole slab fell into the void. Then I heard the wife in the bathroom, that was a less than optimal start to the day. The drain below the stink pipe had leaked then washed the clay out underneath it, so the pipe started to collapse into the void... The owner before me tried to fix the issue by lifting out the stink pipe and pouring what I can only describe as runny brilliant white artex slowly down the hole, so when I dug up the whole mess the pipes were half full of hard white paint stuff and the waste was overflowing back into the drains from an impromptu septic tank....
And people say you can't find jobs even in the US and the UK I always tell people pick the job that nobody wants to do and you'll make the most money out of it that's how I see it but I was fortunate to build houses for 25 years and make a good living for me and my family
is that the drain from the toilet? just covered with a lid in the garden? that smells disgusting! and they have the garden table next to it and eat there??? unthinkable in Switzerland... everything underground... 🤢
Big props for him saying hello to and saving the spiders
Whatever you gentlemen charge for services isn't enough. Dealing with raw sewage, garbage and hazardous material deserves top pay.
We agree, however, it does depend what people are willing to spend.
@@TheDrainUnblockers If people have raw sewage backing up into the house I bet they'd be willing to spend what they needed to get it fixed..
@@TheDrainUnblockers do you charge customer direct per hour or per blockage I used to do blockage work could be good fun

I gotta say, I’m an electrician(mostly new construction), and I couldn’t get paid enough to do this. Hats off to you guys

Being kind to animals is a sign of a good human being, well done mate 👍
I agree! He's a good man! I've seen him even saving worms!!
Is it me or are these videos immensely satisfying?
You fellas are #1 in the #2 business! sending admiration for a critical service from the USA....
Heh.. #2

"Save the spider"
Awww what a pure soul Andy is .... Unless that's what he wants us to think!
Always save the animals and insects, its humans you should think twice about🙃😆 🕷🐦🐦
@@QueenAggyEst2025 👍
If you were a spider would you want your last moments to be in a Tsunami of poop, wipes, and paint?
I once saw Andy save a koala bear from a blocked drain.

Miss the good old days on the jetting... so satisfying sorting blockages. Nice job guys as always
It is ridiculous to think anyone would want to watch something like this.....but here I am, can't look away.

I absolutely love that you saved the spider!
Me too. I saw him fall and was like Oh No! But he saved the spider. Yr ay!
Although shifting the paint was a bit tricky, the vid had a great finish in the end..........
Good Tuesday morning to you all from Wellington Somerset
Nice to see that no spiders were harmed in the making of this film. 😂👍
I loved that you saved the spider!
Andy one my fav jetters up for anything and always gets job done with the best camera angles 👏
Save the spider… that was awesome! 👍🏻😎👍🏻

Enjoy watching your videos here in the States (New York)! You are the master!
Love your videos and glad to see your adventures as well. Thanks for posting this too. Have a nice day now.
This guy saves Spiders ....and I thought I was the only one who does that. They just gained a subscriber. :)
Good visual about 7:10 or so about why some areas have code that junctions have to be a Y “pointing downstream” instead of a T “on its back”
Watched a few of these videos the last day or two , He earned My subscription Today on this video when I saw Him take a min & save that spider.
You saved the spider ... good man!
I rinse and save jars to dispose of cooking oil and grease..haven’t had a clogged drain in 20 years…never flush wipes or dump paint in the drains
Thanks for saving the poor spider! 👍
To quote Maxwell Smart "The old oil based paint down the drain trick". Well done... Dosey quim!
nice one Andy !! great job done as per usual ..We hope wee spider set up web again 😃😃
Great work Andy!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it

another great job done, from USA SALEM, OHIO.
Isn't that junction supposed to be a Y and not a T?
Another great video. Well done you.
Great job Andy
Fascinating videos!
Great job as usual Andy ✌️ 🕷 💪
But surely the stuff you pumped down the main drain will block somewhere else?
It shouldn't, as main lines are much larger (or, at the least, a little larger) than drains running from buildings.
Well done Andy saving the spider, then squash it with the lid,😂😂😂
I noticed the green color of your wash water, that's the disinfectant. I bet it smells nicely now while you work.
It certainly paints a picture but was it actually paint or lots of soap powder? Would of been white emulsion else? And who paints in this heat lol
Nice work gents
Suprised he didn't just scoop the paint out and continued to send it down the line.
thats another paycheck in a weeks time
I thought you would have scooped the hard paint out and put it in the bin.
Yeah...safe guaranteed...we dunno in the lines got clogged or sumthing block it...
Bio hazard
The fact he took the effort and time from what he would be paid to save the spooder
That was awesome, what a legend
Spider*
At last I've found someone else who calls them spooders.
Question answered...lol
lol
Apply the 3 P's rule and not 4 with what to put down the drain... if it ain't Pee, Poo or Paper then it doesn't go down the drain!
but paint is a liquid, hahahahaha
4 p's .. you forgot puke
@@tehs3raph1m LOL... very good and thanks for the morning chuckle!

Seeing that emulsion soaked log at 1:18 made me wonder something I've not thought about for years. Why do you never see white dog poo any more?
Out of curiosity, what does a call out to a blockage like this cost please?
I'm glad for the home owner
Great Video All jetting..

You probably had the prettiest drains for miles.
Oh that milkshake was extra frothy 😆
Did the spider get a new flat?
I am disturbed and satisfied. Both, perfectly.
Entering the club like 5:57
Lots of tripping hazards on the way to the backyard. Broom, pet dishes, bikes, & a green hose, among other things.
You get a like for saving the spider 👍🏻
We don't have the good fortune of an open drain. Could I pour paint thinner down the drain?
Why not shovel the paint blob out of the drain rather than just ramming it into the next hole to get clogged again?
There's nothing like eating breakfast while watching a video of doo doo splattering everywhere.....nice
I love the way that after every job you don't cleaning people strange that you're always clean cleaning up wherever you've done your job
so why nor lift out the solids first?
Walnut whip 😁😁
Do they still sell them ?
Yeah they do. And you can get whips without the walnuts for if you have a nut allergy 😁👍
whats the green liquid? you pour in?
alien blood
Wow, you guys are lucky. All we have here In California is crappy 3 or 4” drain access covers
Why does paint do that? Did it attach to something or? I don't understand how is clogged it so badly
My guess is that any paint that dries on the sides of the pipe then flakes of causing buildup that eventually clogs the drain.
Good man saving that spider
Why do you not remove the gunk instead of moving it down the line??
Remember when you used to see white dog poo? It reminded me of one of those.
I remember those, I wonder why barkers stopped laying the white eggs?
Oh yeh 😂 why was that white not seen it for years not that I go looking 😂.
Building control wouldn't pass that drain as the pipe at the side is entering at 90 degrees.
It always surprises me how close to the surface these exposed pipes are it must be stinky.
Manholes are sealed
As long as it's flowing is fine. These drains never smell, well, unless they're blocked...
When you poked that i thought i heard it scream 😱
this rally hard 🥱
Good job, but wouldn't it have been a lot easier and cleaner to pull out all the paint sludge?
Save the spider, good on you, mate!
was that an entire bucket of paint? bloody hell.
Greetings to you from Iraq
How much do you charge
Is all that white fat ?
What the hell was it blocked with 🤔

Not judging, just curious. Why pour disenfectant straight down the manhole ? I understand the surface area

Don't Pour Paint Down Your Drain Proceed to flush paint down the outlet. What you just did is illegal in my state xD
Why would you have a pipe coming in at 90 degrees?
Do you have to report as a company if someone illegally pours paint into the water?
It’s so close to the house, doesn’t it smell really bad?
If you pour paint down the drain do you get a Benchsky??? 😋 A painting 🎨 in the manhole😂😂😂❗
