I extremely appreciated this long-awaited reaction from you, Josiah, and as a Kratos sider for this battle, I’m finally glad a reactor not only gave him the win, but also saw how potent his disses were (Maui also had killer lines, but not only did I count more on the Kratos side, but Maui’s second performance was relatively weak compared to the other verses (it still had some good lines, though)). Very much appreciated from you!
The thing about this battle is the style clash. Kratos is up in your face. He's loud, intense, and his voice energizes the whole room. For anyone that knows URL battle rap, he's like a Disaster or Tay Roc type rapper. His punches are all very direct and hard hitting, and there's not much speculation needed to know what he's saying. Now Maui on the other hand, takes a while to start cooking, but once he does, he would burn the entire city down. All of his punches are complex and intricate, heavy relying on wordplay and multi-entendres to punch Kratos down, and ends up being stronger than anything Kratos said. A battle rapper to compare this to is Loaded Lux or Ayverb. Anyway, great reaction as always Josiah!
