@@thealmightyoragutan612 He doesn't. He has downsized and i don't think he has the ambition to push the record further. He wanted to take it from Eddie and he did.
Ivan Makarov is shooting for it, but he's far off. Peiman is shooting for it, but i don't see him closing in yet. Luke Richardson has massive potential, but he's still developing.

@@mj3791 18’’ is not a good height for Brian. At WUS 2 years ago his best was 490, I’d be surprised if he matches that. Loads of guys who can beat him

Luke and Tom are heavily underrated IMO. Luke is very strong overhead in particular and a good all around and Tom is heavily dominant at his best events (Tom is undisputed king of the stones). And some of the older guys who were at the top are now starting to slowly fade in performance or retire. And until Martins is back to full health it’s hard not to see both Stoltmans on the podium with Matteusz, whatever order those 3 might be in. To add to that, once Martins does get back to full health, I’m pretty sure both Stoltmans will still be at the VERY LEAST both making top 5 in most contests.

I'd like to see Brian get his fifth title, but those three are my next top picks. With Eddie and Thor both in retirement, the Stoltmans, and Mateusz are my favorites by far.

Tom- 470kg for two raw is very good. Keep at it!! Its always been an orthodoxy that deadlifting suits the shorter lman so its good to see that Tom ( and Thor) are proving that wrong. Luke, never going to beat Tom in that lift but you have your own events where you'll smash Tom. Can't wait to see the two of you in Florida ( hopefully)
