Love your description of Richard Scarry books and Wes Andersons Fantastic Mr Fox ✨. I'm running this game for the first time at our game night on Monday. Thanks for the tips and guidelines 😊
I know, right!? I probably could have done a whole solo focussed review but I think I captured the overall scope here. Anyway, glad you enjoyed it. Happy gaming from AK!
I also really love this game! It’s been a lot of fun. For what it’s worth, the Kickstarter deluxe version came with a really fantastic insert, so may be just the regular retail version that is without an insert. Odd choice though given their other games. Oh and Bunny from I Am Bunny is definitely the best character.
I loke the RFTG vibe. Turn order in place of explore or develop and now only you get the benefit. Category actions with more actions instead of a tableau. This is way easier to teach and understand for new players.
@@TheCardboardHerald and as you pointed out, there other two games had excellent storage. Every time I play Parks with a new group of people they always are impressed with the inserts.
Great review, I have to check this out; it's crazy that this is from the designer of Argent: The Consortium. This sounds a bit like Evacuation, which also just has four rounds and a handful of sharp decisions.

@@kellyhiebert6766 have a great time! Happy gaming & cheers from Alaska!
Finally, a review that covered and factored in the solo mode! For me, its where the game truly shines! Great review, love the game!

Solo designer here. This warms my heart!

Nice pick, I love it! Call me basic but I'm a Huckle Cat and Mr. Fixit guy myself.
Favorite Richard scarry “Squish cat squashes the garbage down with his squashed downer”
Hah! My wife and I talk about the Squasher Downer with startling regularity.

My favorite Richard Scarry character is Couscous the Detective.
@@andrewpierce3131 he’s gonna catch Pepe le Gangstaire one of these days!
Kickstarter deluxe version has an amazing insert
So I've heard and I'm super envious! But I suppose my one of a kind insert now has its own sort of charm that I wouldn't want to part with.
@@TheCardboardHerald well at least until you see the gold edition insert
@@michaeljoesph8687 tempt me not!
No insert.....that's a huge let down. Game looks fun though.
@@BasiCitizen it is a bummer, especially considering how much I otherwise like the game.
